Kyle Blair 18 points for Rose Hill and Antonio Owens had 24 points for Boyd County. Thats the main ones that I could catch.

I had a lot of high expectations for Rose Hill next year, but looks like they are developing into a team that can pull the upset this year! Congrats to the Royals on knocking off one of the best teams in the Region!

 

I guess the Region is Morgan's to lose, but that wouldn't be impossible in this Region!

Congrats to Rose Hill. This game just shows how wide open the region and even the district is. I fully expect BC middle school to be packed for each game in Districts.

I know that Rose Hill would have liked to have had the games at the Stew, and it is apparent that having the homecourt advantage may have been even more critical now - but from a financial standpoint, the extra seating for this year's 64th District will probably be needed.

after the retiring of #50, heard the Lions and Owens handled the loss with Class and realized it was just a "special night for the Royals" and the Garnes Family :thumb:

Yeah, it really wasn't that big of a crowd tonight and the place was full. So it was the best decision financially to hold the tournament at a bigger venue. That gives everyone who wants to a chance to root their team on, unlike the ALL-A fiasco at Fairview.
