I got sick at the Friday night session last year. Was taken by ambulance to Baptist Health and stayed there until Monday afternoon. After a series of tests, nothing serious was found. At least I got to watch March Madness on Saturday and Sunday from noon to midnight while lying in the hospital bed.

Call me a homer, but Jon Jones takes a back seat to no one...

On a list of Top 10 issues of declining attendance, the NCAA Tournament would rank about 11. That may be proven this week.

Always fun to debate. I was at the SK game sitting with some friends from Walton. Definitely a heartbreaker.

Wasn’t the 1980 team fairly small aside from Burns? Those types of teams don’t match up well against this year’s team with The Eraser in the middle.

Unless a team is dribbling the clock out in the final seconds, I have no problem with dunking no matter the score.

I believe Owen led 10-4 after a quarter. SK led by 10 at halftime. Owen had it down to 2 points with about a minute to play.

It’s also been a terrible matchup for Gallatin in both games. But who knows this time of year.

First time I’ve seen the Bears. Really enjoyed their play. Maybe that Gallatin-Spencer game will still happen.

The absolute truth! A hometown kid who wanted to coach there. Within two seasons he had changed the entire culture at Eminence.

I’ve been watching him do that for around 20 years. That being said he did have a personal interest in the game.

I remarked a few times last night was the largest first night crowd I had seen in many many years.

15 straight for the Wildcats who improve to 27-5. Wyatt Bowen with 26 to lead Gallatin. Troy Coomer scored 22. The State’s leading free throw shooter hit 13-13 from the foul line, including 12 in the fourth quarter. Jarin Rassman scored 16. Kelly Niece led the Pioneers with 30.
