Proudgrandpa Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 If WV can play the inside outside game like they did against SC, and with their defense it will be WV 63-57. Good defense with will prevail over a good offense in my humble, but unprofessional opinion.
Mack The Knife Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Walton-Verona wins. My bold prediction...neither team gets to 50.
scon36 Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 These polls keep proving how much I don’t know about basketball. I’m going with Oldham tonight. No reason other than gut feeling. Good luck to both teams.
JackieMoon Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 WV won the first contest 49-43 but that was early in the season. Both teams have gotten noticeably better. Oldham cant shoot any better than they did last night. And WV can't be stopped if they have 3 guys get 18+. I am going with the Bearcats!
Jdhogg Posted March 2, 2019 Author Posted March 2, 2019 Defensively WV will not allow the open looks that OC got last night. If WV plays an inside out, utilizing Miles and Pardee down low and Jones on the perimeter, I will take them in double digits for the Championship!
Hoopsanddreams Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Defensively WV will not allow the open looks that OC got last night. If WV plays an inside out, utilizing Miles and Pardee down low and Jones on the perimeter, I will take them in double digits for the Championship! And IF coach Brannen implores coach Zerhusen to do just that you might just be a prophet! I’m looking forward to an action packed, loud close game, may the best team WIN! From your past posts coach Brannen can only lose tonight.
Jdhogg Posted March 2, 2019 Author Posted March 2, 2019 If WV trys to win this at the perimeter trading 3's with OC, it will get ugly fast. But for now they seem to being playing the Classic in/out offense instead of the motionless perimeter offense of the near past. So I wish them luck.
