Here is some info I found on a game Sunday. Anybody know rosters? All-Star football game on tap Sunday The Best of the Bluegrass East vs. West high school all-star football game is Sunday at St. Xavier High School. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. Many of the top seniors from the Greater Louisville area will take on many of the top seniors from the rest of Kentucky. The Kentucky at-large team, coached by Shawn Berner of Fort Campbell, includes Lexington Catholic receiver Adam Bush, Tates Creek defensive lineman T.D. Jemison and Bryan Station linebacker Everett Talbert, along with Bowling Green state champs Scooter Hollis (QB) and Joe Manley (OL), Glasgow stars Hunter Bowles (tight end) and Jalen Sublett (running back), East Jessamine defensive end Seth Hunt and Perry Central linebacker Matt Robinson. The Greater Louisville team, coached by LaKunta Farmer of Doss, includes quarterbacks DeMichael Jackson of Jeffersontown and Alex Mattingly of St. Xavier, receivers Kiante Northington of Butler, Quintez Sutton of Manual and Cornelius Bolden of Central (who had the game-winning TD catch in the 3A finals), running back Jeremy Harness of John Hardin, safety Travon Spencer of Fern Creek, linebacker Michael Brooks of Collins, and defensive lineman Patrick Graffree of Central Hardin.

I beleive Highlands did score a late TD on a long pass from Towles vs. the second or third team, (so they had 13 or 14 points) The scrimmage was played exactly like a game, both sides had some key injuries. Do we really want to get into this discussion?

Travis Wrights completion perecentage for the year (even with the schedule Trinity played) was 71%! WOW, can anyone touch that!

Have not seen stats yet but Dawkins on just his 4 TD carries had over 100 yards! He didn't play in the second half. Wright was voted MVP, 4 TD tosses (2 to Quick, one to Noe and one to Smith). Props to Scott County and their fans for pumping up the volume. QB #2 and WR #12 were standouts and I was also impressed with the Scott O-line. They smacked T in the mouth on that first TD drive. Don Boscoe won by 10 I hear so I'm seeing this Rock Pile as numero uno in the USA.

Agree with you 110%. Very cool to see him get a score tonight. He would be the best rb on a very high percentage of teams.

I'm assuming you mean Trinity's offense..... and no, since the very first scrimmage it hasn't.

1. Trinity is my team. 2.I have plenty of clues (Prof Plum in the study with a pipe). 3. I admit I've been like an old geezer but can't we get some other topics going other than how great thou art Highlands? 4. and I don't care how far you throw a pass if the defender in inept your going to pile up numbers at will. I just can't get as excited about that as you guys can. So I apologize if I took some of the zest out of these Mt Olympus records but... anyway... I'll just stay out of the 4A threads, go back up to the 6As, and eeveryone will be happier.

It's hard not to find a thread that doesn't discuss the big red S on his chest and red cape and how awesome Highlands is in every way possible. Heck, the media blitz is working even on crusty old me... I'm starting to believe they truly are the #2 team in the state!

Well thanks but I have been on an arrogant roll I suppose... I'm just getting tired of hearing about all these super duper stats from teams and players (not Scott) that have played as I coined them "haystack defenses". Guess I just need to take a big chill pill, watch Trinity tomorrow and let the others enjoy what matters in their world.

I'm sorry I can't feel the love... but playing against haystack defenses week after week and rolling up stats doesn't give me tingly feelings inside.

C'mon, ya have to wonder just a little what defenses with even a tad bit of skill would have done over the course of the season. Heck, he may have thrown 2 INTs! LOL

Pendelton County, Mason County & Holmes, not bad but not Indy Cathedral, Cincy St X and Mont Bell. (well on second thought... yes, they are bad). Doesn't it kinda make you wonder what the numbers would have been against a defense?
