Wright is at a 72% completion rate (per KHSAA stats) vs. a FAR, FAR, FAR more difficult schedule. Then again Wright has better talent surrounding him so I guess that's a wash.

I do beleive there is another all star game that sort of replaces the old KY vs TN. Not sure when that rolls around but as I recall the format for that game is metro Louisville vs the state.

I understand there will be a game Sunday at 2pm at Fairdale High School. I can't seem to find out more info (i.e. team rosters, etc). Can anyone help?

Man, this thread sure didn't need me to stir up the mud. All jabs aside it looks like both schools will win the Class they are in. Both should be pleased. If they want to win the highest class in the state then move up. Is this like arguing that the top AA baseball team could beat the top AAA team (knowing that neither could beat the World Series Champ)?

If Highlands did play some higher quality teams like BG they wouldn't have to worry about counting the zillion points they post againt inferior opponents. Plus they might not be able to count all those paper mache "w"s.

I was bored last night so I tallied up the records of the teams on Scott County's schedule. Regular season: 32-90 with only Bryan Station posting a winning season at 7-5. Playoffs: 24-15 with Eastern finishing 10-3 and Boone at 9-5. So overall record of opponents: 56-105 and Scott County has wins over 3 schools with winning records. Nine of the opponents finished the year with 3 or less wins. Yes, I'm being a "hater" on the schedule and I know Scott doesn't have total control over it, but to say they are undefeated is not that impressive (IMO). One common foe was Simon Kenton. Scott won 41-0, Trinity won 72-0. Didn't somebody do the Trinity opponent record tally???

Darn, I was hoping he'd get it. Certainly given the teams Wales has played over his career the yardage is much more impressive (IMO).

Very impressive Shamrock feat given the schedule played. Way more impressive than the Scott County schedule (that included only 3 teams with winning records). Also more impressive than the Highlands output that has generated BGP chatter.

Yes really... give me Butler and 5 other players I get to pick and as Sports Fan said, they would give T a real battle... he didn't say they'd win, but a real game. If you don't think a few players can make a difference you must not be too familiar with the game.

I think the Butler player #49 broke an ankle or shin bone. Great night for Mr Dawkins. Had one of the best runs I have ever seen, fighting off tacklers. He ran for 272 yards tonight, 3 TDs. Quick had 5 catches with 3 TDs. Butler played hard and had a good game plan, just could not execute some of the passing plays. #1 Northington was a fine player (both ways). Trinity has now outscored playoff opponents 218-12 in 4 games. WOW! Question for anyone who saw the game... why was the punt return by Ryan White blown dead? Was it because he had his helmet ripped off?

What did the SC starters do to be tossed from the game... and does this run over into this weeks game?
