Central's tough schedule and Wale's yardage

Featured Replies

Very impressive when you consider who Central plays year in and year out. Their schedule is tough every week and their accomplishments as a team are well documented also.

It would be interesting to know the W-L record of Louisville Central opponents over Wales career.

Don't know about career but this year the Central opponents were 91-78 with 9 teams posting winning records.

Without a doubt. If you don't respect what Coach Scroggins and the Yellow Jackets are doing, especially the WAY they are doing it, then you haven't been paying attention. They are tearing it up and Wales has played as tough a schedule as any team in the state over the last 4 years with a very slim few exceptions.

If you eliminate the district games and look at the opponents they choose to play, what would that record be?

Wish he'd get the record but glad he wasn't run into the ground... he'll have plenty of time in college to keep on truckin!

They play in one of the worst districts in 3A.

Take them away and their opponents' records are: 79-46.

Is there such a thing as a good district in 3-A?

Tough schedule. That is about what I thought very impressive record against that schedule.

I would guess there are very few districts in any class that have more than two really good teams and the districts dominated by one team may out number the districts that even have two top level teams. 6A probably has more competitive districts than the rest of the classes combined. I am just guessing but that is how it seems without taking a closer look.

I am frustrated with these threads regarding JJ Jude and Wales. I don't know either young man personally but I do know people that are around them and apparently, they are both outstanding kids. They cannot control their schedules, coaches or what class they play in. That being said, why is there the inherent need to bash, supplement, sugar coat or defend what they have accomplished. It appears that Jude will be the record holder and Wales will be second. Just congratulate them both and be done with this! My gosh, this just keep getting more petty by the day.............

There certainly aren't any districts like the one in 1997 that produced state champion Bourbon County as the #4 seed. Who all was in that district? LexCath, Boyle, Bourbon. I can't recall the other team.

I don't see one post in this thread mentioning JJ Jude and what he has accomplished.

Who is bashing? If anything it is bragging?
