Bourbon was a 3 seed. Lex Cath was the 4.

I am frustrated with these threads regarding JJ Jude and Wales. I don't know either young man personally but I do know people that are around them and apparently, they are both outstanding kids. They cannot control their schedules, coaches or what class they play in. That being said, why is there the inherent need to bash, supplement, sugar coat or defend what they have accomplished. It appears that Jude will be the record holder and Wales will be second. Just congratulate them both and be done with this! My gosh, this just keep getting more petty by the day.............

 

 

I didn't even consider JJ Jude in the discussion and neither has anyone else (except you) and I didn't intend to do so. Central's schedule may be the most impressive in the state and this isn't the first year that has been the case.

I was very impressed with Wales' performance last Friday night when Central came to town to play our Fort Campbell Falcons. I was also very impressed with the way he was utilized in that offense.

I agree with you about the strength of the districts at that time. Speaking of Bourbon, that was an incredible run they had that season, even as a #3 seed. The smaller school districts were monsters back then. The NKY Class A district used to be very tough back when it included Beechwood, New Cath, Lloyd, Dayton, Bellevue, and Ludlow.
