Is it possible that East got off to a slow start because Baker was preparing for Elliott from day one? I have had that impression from the start of the season, and may be wrong, but if this is the case I have to tip my hat to Brandon Baker! You almost pulled it off. Either way I have the utmost respect for the East Carter staff.

I started to post this in the Menifee/Rowan thread but I agree. It seems almost every thread tonight is blaming the refs. Kudos to the Raceland and Lewis fans.

In size of school this is correct, but Fleming has a lot of rebuilding to be able to compete with Mason any better than the class A schools. They are the dominate team in the area. Thats just the way it is.

:thumb: It is post season also and starters have to see some pt throughout. If what you posted is accurate, which I am confident it is, that is more than gracious in post season.

If I dont see a similar post during post season at least 10 times a year, something is definitely wrong! (Of course I make a few of them).

He pulls for all 16th teams, but I agree East would be his favorite. He must be commended for being able to analyze a game without his personal preferences coming into play. I for one, put a lot of stock in his analysis.

I can see them swallowing whistles on questionable calls at this point, but its a shame they let it get this physical.

This game was a game of major shifts throughout. Menifee was up double figures early, but Fleming seemed to be blowing them out in the second half, being up nearly 20. Menifee battled back and pulled within 4 with Williams at the ft line shooting two, with 2 minutes left. Fleming won the game by hitting 8 free throws in a row, and proved why they deserved to moved on. It was a great game, and much better than the final score indicated.

I would like to add, congrats Von Perry on a great career. You are greatly appreciated by 16th region fans!

It's not as rare as you might think. It solves a lot of logistic problems on knowing when the bus will arrive, etc. Without this several county systems may have to wait an hour or more to wait on a driver to finish their route.

An interesting insight. It has appeared recently (from the scores) that Holmes may have gotten into a little funk. At least, compared to earlier play in the season. It very well could be that Henley has been concentrating on what they need to help them in postseason, more than just the game at hand. I believe we may know the answer very soon. It will be interesting to see the outcome of the HC game. Im sure nothing will be held back in this one.

If Bath offered a reschedule date in conflict with the championship of the All A championship, can anyone take them seriously in their desire to reschedule?
