  1. I hate to see any player go down with a serious injury, especially in their senor year. Take heart in the fact you have a career on the next level waiting for you. Best wishes on a speedy recovery!
  2. I believe you are underselling yourselves greatly!
  3. I have no dog in the hunt. If you are looking for fairness and competition then moving them north in theory makes sense. Geographically it doesnt however, and I believe that should be the major factor.
  4. :thumb: No matter how you realign, Mason will always be the big dog on the block. Sometimes people make too much of realignment. Geography is still the major issue, and their isnt a team within many miles any direction that can compete with Mason.
  5. No true fan can argue with that!
  6. :thumb: At this time of year you need both! Talent and good luck to finish.
  7. I guess I had better go back to school again and get myself reeducated!
  8. Im not sure if this was made in humor or not, but the answer is no!
  9. I have seen it happen a few times where they didnt post it when hiring within. It may require approval from KHSAA but I believe that would be a formality.
  10. Hazard Adair Co. Central Eastern Lex Cath Holmes SV Elliott Hazard Eastern Lex Cath Elliott Eastern Elliott Elliott
  11. That may have been the most conservative statement I have seen on this board!
  12. Clearly no responses were coached. Short, sweet, and to the point. A great interview! I especially loved his last answer. Everyone that knows Elliott, knows he is ready to bury that shot, but he has confidence in others to do the same. (Rightfully so, I might add!)
  13. :thumb: I believe both teams have been underrated throughout most of the year. I believe SV will pull this one out in a close one. Its hard to beat Masons tradition, but I believe SV may have a little too much too handle.
  14. I dont quite understand this, since Montgomery is much farther than the heart of the 16th than Fleming. I dont have a preference either way, but I dont understand the logistics.
  15. I cant argue with this one either, though Im sure it will not be popular as well.
  16. I believe you are getting info about their seemingly uninspired victory. An outsider has probably exaggerated a bit, and totally came to the wrong conclusion. Elliott County played hard, but treated the victory as business as usual. Winning the 16th was not near their primary goal and they did not show a lot of enthusiasm. I can see how an outsider could portray this to you as overlooking an opponent and going through the motions due to overconfidence. I will assure you this is not the case, they will not be sastified with anything but cutting down the nets in Rupp. I love the attitude myself, but can see how it could easily be misinterpreted to a negative.
  17. Once again I would like to congratulate Mason on a huge victory! I also want to congatulate Clark on an excellent season fighting against ridiculous injury problems, and still growing stronger throughout the year! I would be very proud if I was from either area!
  18. As far as the foul call, I was not there. Refs tend to swallow the whistle late, but usually it is because they want to make sure of a violation instead of determining the game on percentages. If they clearly saw a foul, weak or not, and it was called a foul during the game, it is still a foul with .1 seconds remaining.
  19. I constantly hear that any coach that knows anything can beat a 2-2-1 just get the ball to the middle. A well coached 2-2-1 with athletes that constantly adjust the way they attack, make it very hard to do so! It becomes player adjustment to get it to the middle, it is not always that the coach didnt prepare them for the obvious. A coach can make changes during timeouts, but if the d keeps changing their attack points, the players will still have to make the right decisions.
  20. I agree that he is good, but hopefully he learns from this that he needs to be prepared when he starts. Sometimes talent makes us forget about the details.
