That's a tough break for the kid. I hate to hear that.

This is a damaging blow to Scott County but the most important thing for me is that he has a full recovery. If any of Richie's friends or family are on here - I am praying for him :thumb:

If anybody saw my posts from the game Saturday, this is what I feared. I was hoping I was wrong. This is definitely tough news for Richie, and that is much more important than what it does to Scott County. Let's hope college coaches don't give up on him.

Hate to hear that ... Phares plays hard and seems like a nice kid.

Thats a shame, he was tough.

Hate to hear this. He's probably the hardest working player Ive seen this year in high school basketball.

Hate to hear that about any kid. Goodluck to a speedy recovery.

Did he get injured during the Lafayette game?

I know when I got there for the Lex Cath/Madison Central game he was on the bench with about 5 minutes to go in the game........I was unsure if he was hurt or had fouled out.

Yea I believe he got hurt during the 2nd or 3rd quarter.

So sorry to hear this, Richie is a great kid. Our prayers are with him & his family
