I'm sure Miller would have made a difference. A post player would have a much better chance of dominating a player 3-5 inches shorter than him, than a player around his size.

Good point. Next year, I expect to see even more with such a good junior class around the area.

You don't see that happen every day in highschool sports. I'm glad to hear this happened. What was wrong with SL? Did they come out flat or what??

A much closer game than the score indicates. Ashland was in it in the fourth quarter but Ironton just proved to be to much for the Tomcats.

That looks good to me. I agree with the comment about Ashland and the two man show. I think they need to get Williams and Cannoy more involved, along with Reliford and Smith coming off of the bench.

Ashland could very easily do some damage come tournament time. Even though they aren't doing well, they can and probably will pick it up towards the end of the season.

Bad shooting night for both teams. Fast up tempo game that could've gone either way. Congrats to Boyd they played better down the stretch.

As Goliath said, Ashland has an advanced conditioning class for all grades. But during the end of the school year, Ashland sends a bus to Verity Middle School, and it takes 7th and 8th graders to the weight room to get an early start on lifting.
