AshlandTomcat41 Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 I cant wait for this one! Ashland 66 Fairview 58
Nets Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 What time does the tattoo parlor open in Ashland on Jan. 7???????? j/k at41 But you know that BGP will light up if things don't pan out like you have predicted.
shooterx3 Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Nets- can you refresh my memory? what exactly are you talking about? I think Fairview has a shot in this one
Nothingbutnet Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 The way that Ashland is playing right now, they have a good chance of winning this one! But they can expect a good game from Fairview! AT41 can at least feel some comfort now that the Tomcats are starting to reach their potential.

You guys are so lucky to have me around here.
tcat25 Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 The way Ashland has been playing lately has really impressed me. With Wilcox back, and other players stepping up i like Ashland in the one. 61-54
Nothingbutnet Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 I'm hopeful that Ashland will win this one, but I would hate to see AT41 not get his tattoo!
CountyPride Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 I dont believe this game will be as close as expected....I believe Ashland wins by at least 15.
spindoc Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I haven't seen Ashland play in person yet this season but have seen most teams in the region. Tonight I watched Fairview defeat an extremely athletic team from Canada in the Rose Hill tournament. I was very impressed. Handled the press without a flaw. Crashed the boards with an overall superior athletic opponent. They all move without the ball well and the Barker kid runs the point without making silly turnovers. VERY impressed with Fairview. Also, Rex is as active as his team. He gets a quality cardio workout on the sideline. I'd say Ashland will have their hands full.

Fastbreak Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I'd be one of the last to sell my guys Thomas and McDavid short, but I just watched Rex and his boys from the Wood take apart one of the most athletically talented teams I've seen play in this region in three years. Ashland can't afford to stumble against Fairview, or every sports fan in the state will be able to recognize AT41 at first sight.
LRCW Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 This is going to be a permanent tattoo correct?
AshlandTomcat41 Posted December 31, 2005 Author Posted December 31, 2005 I love you guys  everyone knows they cant play basketball in Canada.
Fastbreak Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I love you guys  everyone knows they cant play basketball in Canada. They weren't playing basketball in Canada, they played in Kentucky and played well. I wouldn't be too worried about the Canucks if I were you though, the boys from Westwood are a handful.
bball observer Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 By observing both teams. I feel that this should be a very good game. I think there are some pretty good talent on both sides of the ball. Ashland has Wilcox back, which gives the dependable shooting on the perimeter and the hustle and energy that Connoys gives the T-Cats. Needless to say, could this be another typical year for the Cats. I strong run after the New Year? Farview has the strength on the inside and have been playing very good basketball. The Eagles also have a smart point guard in Barker that knows where the offense has to go through in this game (the inside).
