Wow, I am suprised with this game.

I agree this game is a shock. But SL is a class act if they win or loose. I owe that to Coach Wright. Does anybody have any stats from this game?

This is a surprise. I figured SL would come out fired up after their early exit from the LIT. Great win for the Indians.

These things happen when you actually bother to play a tough schedule. I'm sure there will be some crazies out there who think this means South isn't the best team in the 13th (or the mountains, for that matter).

You don't see that happen every day in highschool sports. I'm glad to hear this happened. What was wrong with SL? Did they come out flat or what??

Madison Central led throughout the game. They came out and set the tone early with a 9-0 lead. Central held Allen to 5 shots all night. 43 was a player for South tonight. Freshman Simpson led the way for the Indians for the second game in a row. Great high school basketball atmosphere. Great game, and GREAT win for Coach Feldhaus and the Madison Central Indians.

Jordan Hammonds (43) has really improved his game this season.

 

How did MC manage to hold Walt to only five shots? Was he in foul trouble? He usually manages to get that many shots off offensive rebounds/stickbacks.

South tends to get shootin happy from 3-point range, but usually Wright gets them back on track.

You may want to archive this thread before someone from the ACLU (Absolutely Can't Like Us) shows up to close down your program for sponsoring a prayer. I for one applaud the class and character of SL and its student athletes for doing so! :thumb:
