I believe Ashland scored 77 last game? If they can get anywhere near that, than it shouldn't be too difficult to get 105.

Rose Hill forfeited after they couldnt bring down Euton, Beair, and Jackson. I still think they should have played, they could have brought the remaining 6 or 7 and played the game. Ashland most likely would have beat them, but they should have played the game and see how it would have came out. Congrats to Ashland on a great season.

I think its to early to say. You never know what players could develop into.

Greenup is a tought place to play at. I still think that Ashland, if they play like they did against Elliott, than they will win 10+. Ashland 58 Greenup Co. 47

Thomas had a huge game. I'm not sure how many points he had, but he carried the Tomcats to the win IMO. Another consistent game from McDavid with probably around 15. Huge win for the Tomcats.

Boyd played the Tomcats very tough tonight. They didn't quit until the game was over, which was proved by a half court 3 pointer with 1 second remaining. Neither team played great, but Ashland did what they had to do to win. This is Ashlands 3rd win against BC, which is hard to do against any team. They will have the opprotunity to do it again against East Carter on Wednsday.

I highly doubt that Raceland would beat Ashland if they both advance. Ashland beat Raceland in the regular season by around 20 points or so. I also think that Rose Hill will advance.

Your correct. I think it was a smart decision my Fleming Co. because if those two were injured, than their varsity season goes down the drain.

Raceland defeated Russell in the first round. Not sure of any stats or scores.

Just a note that the Ashland - Rock Hill game was changed to 7 PM.

Yes it could have. Bonner would have been a big help to the Tomcats, but he deserves to be playing up. Ashland also layed off on the press for most of the second half.

I dont think that Ashland is too much of an underdog, but we'll see come tournament time. By the way, welcome BigDawgOnCampus!!! :banana:

Ryan Bonner, a 6'3 freshman hasen't played with the freshman the whole year, and Matt Rowe has been dressing with the JV lately.. He has played with the JV and Varsity. The Freshman Tomcats have an interesting system about playing JV. Every time the varsity and JV play, two of the players on the freshman team will dress with the JV, and it rotates every game.

I though that Fairview would win this one, but once again I was wrong. Who were the leading scorers?

I agree. There aren't any scrubs on Ashlands team, all eight of them can play. The exact same thing happened the first time, Russell broke down against Ashlands press. The freshman Tomcats have a big game on Thursday against the Ironton Tigers of Ohio.

Owens gets the most attention by far from the 16th.
