Wow, them hot new rankings that Cubster brought out isnt looking so hot about now!

Didn't Fairview beat the crud out of Elliott in the All-A final last week?

Not to defend Cubster, but in the 16th Region this year, no ranking system is safe.

Come to think of it, this may be one time where the Litkenhous ratings are as good as anyone else's... :D

Oh - and a big "Congrats" to Elliott. It's not like they beat a weak sister in this game.

I though that Fairview would win this one, but once again I was wrong. Who were the leading scorers?

Wow, ought to be a contrast in styles in the first round of the All-A versus NCC.

NCC gave up 48 to St. Henry, 42 to Bellevue including the OT, and 45 to Holy Cross in the ALL-A.

If Fairview gets the game into the 70s or 80s they ought to like that.

Everyone in this region knows how hard it is to get a win at Elliott.

Elliott pretty much outplayed Fairview in this game. They probably should have won by double figures, but Fairview hit 4 or 5 shots in the final minute, including a couple of 3's. The last two games for Elliott have been wins over Morgan and Fairview. Their next game is against Ashland.

On a side note, I saw scouts from Newport Central Catholic, Ashland, East Carter, and Morgan County in the stands. All of these teams have big games coming up with these two teams.

That is the second time Elliott has beaten Fairview this season!!!!!!

Evan Faulkner 24 pts,2 rbd's 1 asst.

Jonathan Ferguson 23 pts, 11 rbds, 3 asst.

Nathan Lewis 16 pts, 2 rbd's, 2 asst.

Ethan Faulkner 12 pts, 3 rbds, 3 asst.

Ron Weddington 5 pts, 10 rbds, 8 asst.

Tyler Maynard 6 pts.

Barker, Black, Holbrook were Fairview's top scorer's dont know how many though.

Faulkner twins are outstanding players. & will be for some years to come!!!:thumb:

Don't know how they missed out on the All"A"

It looks as though Elliott County is revving up the ante for all of their opponents. I like this team and wish them luck except against Morgan County.

Fairview scoring-Barker 21(all second half),Black 19,Holbrook 14,Bayless 12(Most in first quarter),Hutchinson 8(all second half),Stewart 6 and Gehringer 2.Elliott deserved the victory. They played harder and hit clutch free throws(15-18) in the 4th quarter.Elliott is very tough especially at home.Should be a good game between them and Ashland next week.

Elliott led 40-28 at halftime and was nevr really threatened. Fairview hit some quick threes at the end to set the final score. I am really looking forward to some exciting games in the 62nd District Tournament. Elliott's schedule continues to get tougher as the season winds down, but they seem to continue to find ways to win.
