Kane Belcher gonna out up a fight for 07 and 08 it will most likely be Miller form Mason County

Over Stephon Pettigrew from E-Town????!!!!

Possibly. Depends on what happens if E-town and SL meet up again in the Sweet 16, this time around in the first round. E-town will have a tougher time holding up its end of the bargain. There are no Bardstowns or John Hardins in the 13th.

Josh Crawford of Corbin would have to be among the leaders in the '08 race.

I beg to differ, Steffphon Pettigrew 21 ppg 11 rpg so far this season.

:argue:

Arrez Henderson from Holmes could be in the top group in 08'. He is only going to get better.

Josh Crawford is in the Class of 2009.

For the Class of 2008 frontrunners are:

Bud Mackey 6'2" Guard Scott County

Darius Miller 6'6" Center Mason County

For the Class of 2009 frontrunners are:

Jacob Jenkins 6'3" Guard DuPont Manual

Josh Crawford 6'4" Guard Corbin

I beg to differ, Steffphon Pettigrew 21 ppg 11 rpg so far this season.

Not sure what Ty averages this season, or averaged last season. However, I say its very impressive when you combine points, rebounds, assists, and steals per game. Needless to say, I dont think impressive stats are the primary focus in selecting a Mr. Basketball, at least IMO. Nor should college or athletic potential be the primary focus.

Maybe someone can help us on this. Its not posted on the KHSAA website.

Skyhawk........Kane Belcher for 07 Mr. Basketball??.........Don't get me wrong, he's a nice player, but he's the 3rd or 4th best player on the team this year........Next year, he'll be receiving attention from the other teams' defenses that he's not seeing this year.........The loss of Elliott, Mains, and Elrod will hurt him a lot...........

I beg to differ, Steffphon Pettigrew 21 ppg 11 rpg so far this season.

Hopefully we will get to see Proffitt and Pettigrew square off on the floor at Rupp. That should answer some questions as to who the favorite is.

Arrez Henderson from Holmes could be in the top group in 08'. He is only going to get better.

I agree with Arrez, Will definitly make a run for Mr. Basketball
