Not that it matters, but, originally, he was given the win--which is technically correct. However, the official scorer switched it and gave Affeldt the win. I'm sure Elias will let us know.....the longest WS save, in a game 7, by a visiting left-handed pitcher, on a Wednesday, at night.
This guy is a moron. The combined computer rankings (formerly known as the BCS) has 4 SEC teams in the top 4 spots. So does Sagarin. Who influences the computers?
Yeah, they create their own line movements--usually with the favorite and the over. I love it. Always keep some money in an online account and take advantage of the best line.
Bad thing is they almost "make" you take some games. Like last night--4 extra points! I was on the fence beforehand but I'm not turning down 13.5 in a division game. If anyone took Dallas with him last night, they're crazy.
All good indeed. I still have no idea why this moved 6 points. The money was split 60-40 and was never more than 65% on the Ravens. The Colts had over 80% of the money on them most of the week and that line only moved 3.5 points. Either way, I usually feel better about my bet when it is going against "the public".
Ended up with only 60% of the money on the Ravens. Late money was all over Cincy. For some reason they kept moving the line--it moved 6 points--but I have no idea why.
Minn +3
Chi +6 (not taking them again this year)
Car +7
Cin +3 (bought the .5--couldn't resist when it got to 2.5)
Later thinking...
Pitt +3.5
NO -3 (they have to break through at home, right?)
Phil +1 ???
Oak +8 ???
I guess we find out today. It's still only 68% on Baltimore. You have to admit, a 5.5 point swing on an NFL game is rare. I think it will still swing back a little today. I'm just saying that from a handicapping stand point, the Bengals are the play--Bengals at home, home team on 19-5 run in Bengal games, etc. But, sometimes they set a bad line. Like I said, we'll find out today. I'm not touching it but it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Cincinnati wins.
Heard another report today talking about this story and it was brought up that Wilson's "entourage" does not have any black guys in it, thus, at least partially, leading to the perception that he is not "black enough".
