Doesn't matter who is #1. I agree with their top 4 and think that is who the committee will have. Alabama, Oregon, or FSU could all make an argument to be #1.

According to Vegas power rankings, only Alabama would be favored over FSU.

Today's lines are crazy! You have a team that hasn't won a conference game in two years, favored over a ranked team (Arkansas). You have a team that hasn't lost in 2 years only favored by 2.5 to an unranked team (FSU). The #1 ranked and undefeated team is a 10-point dog. Probably not touching any of them but they're just daring you to take LSU, FSU, and Alabama.

One from NKY, 2 from Cincinnati, 1 an hour down the road and another handful within a few hours. There are only 4 that are not within a 3-4 hour drive. Specific to NKY, I agree, the talent isn't there. I'd say their roster will always look similar to this one.

Good points. It is harder to judge with so much "unproven" talent but everyone else has it too. I think the POTENTIAL is there for them to be a dominant team just because of their depth.

So, if there are only 5 elite teams, and UK is one of them, how many games will they not be favored in? I'm guessing 1 or none. How are expectations too high?

It serves it's purpose for many--although, that purpose varies (certainly some good and bad). To keep up with family and friends far away it's ok. Haven't read all the posts on here but don't knock it as a waste of time or the people on it if you're sitting there with 20,000 posts on BGP. Sure, some people on there are ridiculous but it's just one of many social media platforms.

Grand Canyon, Buffalo, Boston, Montana State, UT-Arlington, EKU, Columbia....which one is holding them under 100? That's 7 right there. Just something to think about. These games will skew the averages quite a bit. Another 5-6 games will be huge blow outs and potential for 100+.
