A mod needs to fix the thread title...it was 58-54 final and game went to overtime.

Wow, it seems like no NKY team wants to step up and claim that #2 spot. I think that means either Scott or Boone County will be #2 now.

Seems like the BCS 2 years ago when being ranked #2 in the country was a death notice for that team. Great game Tigers!

I hope everyone who criticized me all week for giving Beechwood so much credit now realizes that they are for real and I wasn't just basing it on them playing Holmes tough. I said it before and I'll say it again...Beechwood is tough and IMO will get the 2 seed in the 35th. They keep proving EVERYONE wrong, so hopefully a win like this will get others to start believing in them as well and realize they're legit..

I will however eat crow for saying Highlands was clearly the second best team in NKY. Tough loss for the Birds. I think this just goes to show 2-13 really is wide open in NKY.

Congrats to Beechwood on the W. Enjoy it.

Scott will move in to #2. Highlands #3, Boone #4.

Congrats to Beechwood you deserved to win..HHS is so up and down you never know who is going to show up..I didn't think the Birds played very well at all tonight..

No it was 58-52, but it did go into OT.

That sure sounds familiar....:thumb::sssh:

Scott will move in to #2. Highlands #3, Boone #4.

Beechwood in there anywhere?

Highlands did solve the issue of who their go to guy is though. Grote was it the whole way, and there wasn't any question. The whole team was lookin to him, and Willie was callin his number the entire game.

Beechwood in there anywhere?

It's tough to put Beechwood in the top 5 because of their loss to Campbell Co but IMO it wouldn't surprise me if they did move in there somewhere.

Beechwood should move up. Scott beats Campbell by 2, Brossart by 4. Boone loses to Highlands pretty badly. Who knows?

Holmes

Scott

Highlands

Boone

Campbell

Beechwood in there anywhere?

Yeah I wouldn't worry about being ranked honestly. It means absolutely nothing this year, and it's a job I wouldn't want.
