There are several East Carter students over the years that have lived in Greenup Co. It is closer for some on Route 1 to go to East instead of Greenup Co.

Wasn't the Fairview score like 26-0. That is a big margin for a game you should have won. I am not bashing Lewis Co., they will get a win somewhere down the road, it has been a couple of years and they are hungry I am sure.

East's JV is going to have a tough time competing. They have 3 or 4 juniors, 1 sophomore, and a ton of Frosh. Most schools play alot of juniors and sophomores on their JV squads.

This game was competetive for a half. The Devils were up 21-7 and East had a couple of chances to cut into the lead. Russell pulled away late in the 3rd and got the W. Congrats to the Devils.

West, Lewis, and Morgan are all very winnable games. I actually think East should be favored in all 3. Rowan is playing well, but I would call it winnable as well.

East Carter has a talented big man in 6'7 Colt Barnhill. The kid can flat play, and is a true big man. He stays in the paint and alters every shot that goes up on the defensive end.

I agree completely, Coach Vanderhoof is a class act.

With all of that traveling it is hard for me to believe you have open dates. Maybe Post 76 could give UK a call and have a scrimmage on their field instead of running teams off to scrimmage at AK Park. Actually I have no problem with Post 76, as I have said before I think it is good exposure. I just happen to have a negative opinion of the guy in charge, not the organization as a whole. Congratulations on your son playing at the next level, that is an excellent school.

The Fairview/East Carter game was actually in Westwood. I think the Raceland game may be a little closer as well.
