Fall Ball Baseball

Many high school players and travel teams, will be participating in Fall Ball, in various organizations. Which schools have teams and/or players, that will be participating.

Some may be looking to schedule games, have tryout dates, host tournaments or secure additional players. Post teams who are playing and/or contacts, for those interested.

Champions Sports Fall League out of Lexington.

Teams that I know who will be participating; LCA, Lex Cath, Dunbar, Bryan Station, London, Montgomery Co, Fleming Co, Tates Creek, Franklin Co. and Madison Central.

Should be some strong competition in this league. If your high school team is not putting a team in this league, Champions will take individuals sign ups as well. Contact Champions Sports for more info. http://www.championsbaseball.com

Teams are always looking for LHP's, even though they throw with the wrong hand....:D

I know some kids are participating in the Champions league. But the league is in Southwest Ohio.

Does anyone know the KHSAA rules about players wearing their High School t-shirts to play in?

Not supposed to wear anything from the school or use school equipment. I believe your not even allowed to go by the school name.

I'm relatively new to Ky. baseball. Is there a limit to how many players from a school can be on a team? Does KHSAA govern this activity/off season? I'm all for a kid to get all the baseball he can. Just not sure of the particulars.

I don't think they're a limit on how many players, a lot of teams use their High School teams in the fall:thumb:

Curtis Lowe- Ashland Post 76 can always use help, Paul does a great job trying to work with you when your kid plays football as well.

If you are interested in your kid getting good instruction and improving his game, I would look elsewhere. If you are looking for a place to play, then maybe Post 76 would be ok.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but Post 76, like many other very good programs, realize that members of their team, often have school obligations that limit their time with players. Players who are passionate about the game, often find time to workout, whether as a team or a small group.

In the Fall, school is going on and like many, these teams will play on the weekends and perhaps some local games, during the week. If you're near the Ashland area and are looking for a Fall Baseball team, than Post 76 would be a very good choice.

Many areas across the State, have teams that are currently being assembled and/or try-outs, which are going on.

Ron Golden offers a very nice traveling program, if anyone is near the Columbus, OH area.

Post 76 plays a very competitive schedule every year! When kids play at this level they should already know the game, this should be used to hone their skills and to be seen by any other teams or colleges. This is not IMO a baby sitting thing, but most kids improve somewhat just by playing better competition and being with older kids who want to play at another level! In fall ball kids play BECAUSE they LOVE the GAME and not any other reason!
