mcpapa Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Russell gets back on track according to the scoreboard.
ryanparker Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Russell looked better in this one than they did against Ashland. They seemed to play with a little more enthusiasm. It is so difficult to tell, though, against an East Carter team who has failed to come within 20 points of any opponent. The Russell schedule picks up on October 17th as they finish out with Simon Kenton, Mason County, and Raceland. We'll have to check back then to see if the "improvements" are a mirage. :-)
The Red Rambler Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Great win for the Devils after a tough loss!
16th62nd Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 This game was competetive for a half. The Devils were up 21-7 and East had a couple of chances to cut into the lead. Russell pulled away late in the 3rd and got the W. Congrats to the Devils.
FORMERPLYRUSSELL Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Big Russell fan but went to Raceland game because it was the better game. Raceland is a solid team period. Russell needs to be ready the people I talked to said the players have the Russell game circled in the weight room. For almost a year now.
kystraydog Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 I was at the Russell game and I know alot of friends of mine left after halftime to drive down to watch the end of the Raceland game. This area of Ky is starting to make me proud once more. Raceland is dominating...Ashland is pounding....Russell is back running on all cylinders. Great job Russell for the win last night. (oh and Boyd,Fairview, and Greenup are doing great also....just ran out of funny quips)
Hit Catch Throw Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 It looks like Greenup area took a weep this week. 3 wins. { Raceland, Russell, Greenup} That what Im talking about. :thumb:
sidelinedoc Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Good job rebounding from a loss. Good luck next week, keep it up.
