I am going to make a prediction that Walton-Verona comes out on top in the A. I think they are getting healthy and playing tough competition will have them prepared for the environment. It will be a Gallatin Co vs Walton-Verona final. IMO with Walton-Verona pulling the upset.

Coach is Jeff Jackson. He use to coach at University Heights. He does a great job! He is very detailed and his teams are always good defensively. What I like is he always adjust his offense to his personnel.

It is not a good thing when the opposing coach is yelling out your plays to his team before you even start running your offense. That happened to me one time when I was coaching. I was calling plays out and Trent Steiner from Simon Kenton was telling his players what was coming before we crossed mid court. It was a long night!!!

That is just stupid.

Would it be considered Offensive Goaltending? Since the defensive player is actually the offensive player on that end?

How is a kid who gets cut on his school team going to find a good AAU program? Good AAU programs want to win and if a player who gets cut is looking they are not going to waste their time on that kid. IMO!

I don't see how a high school team can only score 19 points in a game. Are they playing hard for their coach?

So what did Walton-Verona do? Did they stay in zone or let ND hold the ball?

Don't get me started on the "flow of the game" CRAP! I use to hear that from officials and it drove me nuts. What is flow of the game? If the kids get whistled for fouls and travels, they will learn to stop doing it and the games will get better. Who determines the flow? The REF??? The coach?? THe players? I have a simple philosophy. Call the game! If it is a foul call it!!! Refs use to say that if the handchecking didn't alter the dribbler they weren't going to call it. If i am 5'10 and way 155 lbs and i have a 6'1 175 lb person guarding me, he can dictate every where i go with a nudge. I have to keep my dribble and veer away because if i get to deep or bumped to hard, i will lose the ball because he is stronger than me. So i don't go in there and when i don't go where i need to go then we can't run our offense and the defense wins! Bigger, stronger, and faster is all you need to be now! Tell me the last team that everyone fell in love with watching because of offensive execution?
