The annual Holy Cross Freshmen Christmas Tournament starts the day after Christmas but the only games that I know of for sure are the following.

 

CovCath Vs. Boone Co. at 6:40pm on Wednesday, Dec. 26th at Holy Cross.

 

Whom ever wins that game will play Thursday at 8:00pm

 

Whom ever loses that game will play on Thursday at 2:00pm.

 

 

Any idea who is else is playing and the times and dates?

I think Brossart plays Walton-Verona at 4:30pm on Wednesday.

I heard St.Henry plays Bellevue at 10am? on wed.

No they are not. They have not played in this for years and I really am not sure why.

Great tournament for the young kids. Gives them a chance to play In front of good crowds. Good luck to all teams. I look forward to watching some games and see what is in the future for northern Kentucky hoops.

Holmes, Dixie and SK. I believe they have one loss between them, could be wrong about the record. But I know I'm close. If Arnold plays for Holmes he doesn't have an equal at this age level. He plays varsity too so it will depend where they are playing. Dixie has some nice guards forget their names. SK is balanced and gets scoring from several players like Colten Downs, Austin Freeze and Cameron Racke.

Saw Sk beat CovCath it an fun game to watch but then was told they lost to Holy Cross who CovCath blew out, hey it's frosh ball....:lol:

NCC Frosh have beaten Dixie, Walton Verona, Holy Cross, Glen Este and Conner.

If Holmes' freshmen were playing where they should be, they would be extremely tough to beat.

 

Andrew Arnold, Ian Broiley, Stephan Greene, and Brandon Moore all travel with the varsity so they will be in Florida this week, as far as I know.

 

Englemon, another standout frosh from that team has been playing freshman ball all year, but he is probably one of the better players in that league.

 

Moore hasn't played at all at the varsity level due to knee surgery but from what I've heard he is probably the most polished big man around the rim that they have...as far as post moves go.

 

Arnold sees regular varsity time and Broiley/Greene see regular JV mins.
