Yes, it will be at LexCath and heard at a couple of schools nearby. Looks like pretty much all the good teams are going. Only one I would say a legit regional favorite, not on this list, is St. Xavier. Looks like a majority of the top teams statewide and a few good Ohio schools. It will be a lot of fun. Gonna be a battle now at QB Pfeifer from Trinity is really good Turner from Boyle - I have not seen him but was told he's super talented And I know from my CAL friends - Chris Burke's son has been thought to be the "future" at QB. Losing Hobbs will hurt. He's one of the best in that '27 class.

Butler High School has hired Gary Wheeler as its new football coach. Wheeler was the coach there for eight years and stepped down after the 2020 season. He went 47-42 during his tenure. Coach G is a great guy and will do an awesome job! Louisville high school football is a better place when Butler is competitive. One of the best JCPS programs and Wheeler will get them back to winning.

Anyone from Ryle know how the young man who was injured is doing? Hoping for the best.

Yeah, hate to say it but this was the year to get Godzilla. There are so many key pieces back for next season, and a few special youngsters are waiting in the wings! 'Zilla is alive and well.

Well, my favorite number changed tonight. It was 28 and is now 29! Great job by Coach Cobb and the staff. It's not easy to be the head coach at Trinity. There are a lot of expectations, and there is a lot of disappointment if you don't win the final game. Now, he has two years in a row so a tip of the cap to Coach Cobb. Zane Johnson won MVP and deservedly. Could have also picked a number of guys. Huge play on defense by Caleb Ricks to pretty much seal it.

Coffman is a player. Would love to see one of the in-state schools take a chance on him. He's the kind of guy that is going to get better and better every year in college.

Saw clips Sayre early in the season and they looked really solid. Brock Coffman kid one of the most exciting players in the state IMO

Love what coach White has done at Atherton! But this one will be a tough one. BG 42-6 My only question is, will coach White get a bigger JCPS gig after this season? I would think so.

Sad to see the Danville program down so much. Tough gig when Boyle is rolling like it is. Still should be enough talent to go around.

St. X's weight room would be something most schools in the state would love! And the field is just fine. I have been there a bunch of times. They used it a whole lot but it's just fine. Coach Wallace is a coach that most schools in the state would love. He's not the problem. I'd say most would put him as a top-five or six active coach right now! It's just different now in the city of Louisville. What Beatty did to elevate Trinity was unheard of and they are still at the top. Male has done so many good things under Wolfe, they are also still right there. St. X is clearly next in line and it's not even close when you talk about the elite programs. Now, I understand one state title in seven years is not enough for the X folks. But when you think of it this way, it's nothing new. So it's not a Wallace problem. **X has won just three titles since 1999! **Male has a total of three titles since 1999! **Trinity has won 16 titles since 1999!

Congrats Ballard. Tough for Male. Just too many injuries to overcome (and to key, key players).

Just keep improving each week fellas! Two down, three to go....one at a time no matter who you play.

I do think X had some injuries late in the season that hampered their progress But they still have enough kids to plug in others. The thing that shocked me the most about them was the line was just very, very average And honestly the QB play was inconsistent. Those two together...will hurt an offense.

Saw the first game. Ryle had trouble containing the speed of Marlon Harbin (109 yards rushing and 2 TDs) Now, X has Manny Gray back at RB and gives them Harbin on the outside. Just too much speed for Ryle.
