Great win for the Ads!!

Boyle was firing on all cylinders tonight. This game was over after the 1st play of the game. Boyle had 5 possessions in the 1st quarter and scored 5 touchdowns. They ended up scoring TD's on 8 of 9 possessions in the 1st half. I was glad to see the Rebels spread the ball around, getting a lot of players involved in the offense tonight. They'll need to do that as they go deeper into the playoffs.

Big big win for the Ads, and should be a confidence builder going into the playoffs. Congrats.:thumb:

I thought CC's defense played very solid last night. Fortunately, Boyle had just enough big plays to make the difference. Of course, Boyle's D was very solid as usual After the game, we were driving back to my mom's house to stay the night and were listening to the post-game wrap-up on the radio. The radio guy said that if Boyle didn't have Rees McShara CC would have won the game. He didn't say "might have won", he said "would have won". Interesting comment I thought because I can't remember the last time a score of 0 was a winning score.

the Comfort Suites might be your best bet. It's only a couple miles from the Stadium of Champions.

Boyle County/Christian County Predictions
I get a chance to visit my old stomping grounds Friday. The nice thing is our family won't have to drive back to Danville after the game since my mom only lives 20 miles away.:ylsuper::ylsuper: Boyle County 42 Christian Co. 21

Exhibit A: This is a picture of the kids' bathtub following my son's shower last night after he got home from the game. Bear in mind that the team actually rinsed off in the showers (with their gear on) at EJHS prior to boarding the bus last night.

I agree. With all the mud covering the uniforms and such it may have been a good idea for each team to have a password that each player has to say before being allowed into the huddle.

I joked with my wife that I expected a tractor pull or demolition derby to break out during the game at some point. Also, Boyle was flagged with 2 sideline infractions and the fans were wondering just what the officials were using as a marker to determine the players were too close.:idunno:

I loved the "slip n slide" re-enactments some of the players were doing after the game ended.:lol:

I don't mind the cold, just don't like the damp and drizzle. As far as the field is concerned, we need a week of dry weather to let it "heal" up. With all the wet weather games we've had this fall, I'd say a lot of schools are seeing their fields ripped to shreds. If (and this is a big if) Boyle gets to the rematch with Bell this year, I'm sure the field will be pretty ugly.

Another miserable weather football night. This is 3 week in a row. Maybe next week will improve.

It's pretty much an atypical team from top to bottom this year.

I've never seen the attendance at Admiral Stadium as weak as it has been this year. Wow. Wireman, did the Ads EVER use those timeouts at the end of the game or did they save em for next week?

Boyle County 21 Lexington Catholic 13
I thought both teams were impressive tonight and played their hearts out. Boyle found out that the road to the potential rematch with Bell will have to be earned and LC found out they will have a good shot at Boyle in what is sure to be a rematch for the district title in November.

Great job with the updates GS. Also, I didn't realize HC was #2 in 6A. Wow.
