I enjoyed the game tonight. The program definitely appears to have a bright future. Even with the miscues, the younger players seem to have an intensity that is missing in many programs you see throughout the state. And yes, the talent at RB is very rich indeed looking forward.

Having beaten the #2 team in 4A and a solid highly ranked 2A Danville team, I think they definitely have a claim to be #1. However, Bell has been destroying its opponents in a very impressive manner.

I don't care if they hold the finals on a farm in rural Ballard County, I'll be there and you can be sure I'll be having a great time. Let the games (and the fun) begin!!!

Has Crittenden Co ever beaten Mayfield before?? CC didn't even have a football team when I was growing up in W. Ky.

Boyle's D line is VERY strong against the run and average against the pass. They simply aren't big enough up front to get consistent pressure on the qb. I thought LC's offensive line was quite good btw.

A great game between two great teams!!! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves this evening. 1st of all, my hat is off to both teams for leaving it all on the field tonight. Both teams have incredibly talented defenses and the battle of field position pretty much lasted throughout the night. Boyle swarmed to the ball again tonight just as they have each game this year. Lex Cath also swarmed to the ball and their corners were very quick. This could have easily been a Lex Cath victory in that they had 2 TD's (one on a kick return and one on an interception) called back due to penalties. Both teams' offensive production was marginal; however, this was due in large part to the defensive prowess of each team. It's ashamed that these teams are in the same district. And as the saying goes, it is going to be hard to beat LC twice in the same year should these two teams meet again (which is very likely). Again, congrats to both teams on a well fought battle.

I was at the game. They definitely looked strong. #44 will be a valuable asset for a long time. Go Rebels!!! Observation: Several of the Rebel fans need to take a refresher class in high school football rules before they scream insults at the refs. Is a bit embarassing at times. FWIW: The officials have been pretty solid thus far this year imo.

I pretty much agree with most of the above posts. Both Boyle and GRC are very good teams this year and it is definitely no shame in losing to them. Personally, I'd rather see Danville at 2-2 after playing 4 strong teams than 4-0after playing 4 cupckakes. I fully expect the Ads to be in a position to make a run in the playoffs but Fort Campbell is probably the team to beat in 2A at this time. From what I've seen (and heard) of Danville so far this year, their biggest weakness is lack of imagination on offense when they are in tight games. Hopefully, this will improve with time.

Sort of shocked by the poll results thus far. People need to remember that Lex Cath's losses this year are to a talented team out of Indy and St. X which is almost always in the top 3 best teams in the state year after year. Make no mistake, this is a toss up imo.

I think I speak for all of us in saying we feel the same about you guys there at the Fort.
