I think I like it!!

How is Mr. Lamar doing for Boyle? Watched him as a freshman when Boyle beat Trinity...he looked like he had the ability to be something special.

He's starting both ways as tight end and linebacker for the varsity. Lamar doesn't play j.v.

Boyle is a solid program and will be a successful program for many many years!

The score could have been much worse,the starters did not play but one series in the second half. The halftime score was 39-0

You have to admire Coach Roe for calling of the DOGS(REBELS). You are correct the score could have been real ugly. I think its great for the freshman to get lots of snaps in the JV game. This sophomore group had some great games among themselves in rec. league. Since they have played together for a few years(middle school, freshman and JV) they seemed to have really come together as a team.

I was at the game. They definitely looked strong. #44 will be a valuable asset for a long time. Go Rebels!!!

 

Observation: Several of the Rebel fans need to take a refresher class in high school football rules before they scream insults at the refs. Is a bit embarassing at times.

 

FWIW: The officials have been pretty solid thus far this year imo.
