I agree with a lot of posters on here when you say that you cannot compare past games. Every game is different, this one is WAY DIFFERENT. In saying this, I feel Belfry is just too physical for Central, Pirates roll 35-6.

The Bobcats will bring all they have and then some........ It won't be enough though, Belfry 35-6

Well I suppose there are many ways to do things, but it has been my experience that the people I have dealt with have done it this way.

KHSAA doesn't get any money from the playoffs, the gate is split evenly minus the home team's expenses from the game, i.e. officals, field paint, security, etc. Some schools will pad this amount to get more of the gate, others will be fairer about it.

Interesting that John L Smith is back in Louisville....... High expectations for the Cards not met this season............ Very curious.

I agree. I don't like this format either, but if you are going to have that many, might as well let everyone play.

I think there is a chance, but I also think that some of the teams have to get some breaks to get there. Hazard and or Pikeville need help, I have seen both, not bad teams for sure, but not quite sure they have all the stuff to go all the way. Corbin is a nice team, saw them earlier this year, don't know how they will handle the big speed. Belfry, if they stay healthy, has the best team in 3A. Bell Co. has thier best team in awhile, also their best chance, but will have to deal with Lex. Cath, but has a good chance IMO. Johnson Central has a very nice team, but has to deal with the North, not a good thing. I wish them all well!!!

Everyone needs to understand that anyone can be "investigated" for anything, it doesn't mean that you are guilty.

I hope so for everyone's sake. I do know Belfry had a lot of problems, true they did "get in" the building, but there were repair and maintence issues that whole year, plus the company got fined for things not being completed and delays on the project. I hope that I am wrong thought about the new Harlan Co. Schoool! I hope they can't get it finished and have the kids ready to go for next year!!!

Blackbears, trust me on this one, new schools are NEVER on schedule. I saw the new school the first of October, it has a LONG WAY to go. I'm not trying to be negative, but they will be very lucky to get in at the start of next year.

I'm not guessing anything, if you will read my post, I said he MIGHT be interested and that he MIGHT be a good fit. I in no way said he was definately going there and I in no way said he was the best or only person for the position. You guys need to chil on this issue, because there is every possiblity that the school won't even be ready to open on time, then what? (Based on finishing the construction)

I think you have to classify the stadiums in two different categories, Modern and nestalgic. The old stadiums cannot compare to the modern ones for convieniences, but IMO the new ones cannot match the atmosphere. As far as Modern stadiums go, I love the CAM field at Belfry, but with that being said, I loved the atmosphere and history of Vipperman. Ashland has the best Old stadium in the State, IMO its just filled with history and its has a look all its own. I guess it just boils down to what you are looking for!

People who bash the coach don't really have much of an idea what is going on. Its been my experience that the administration controls the future of schools and programs. One man cannot do it all. Look at the chief and see if the support is there, if its not, which I suspect it isn't at Garrad, look at getting rid of that person.

Would it be possible to go ahead and arrest morons like that BEFORE the game? I wonder if we could get some legislation going for that, then MAYBE real fans could enjoy the game.
