The KHSAA is investigating the Johnson Central football program.

Butch Cope, spokesperson for the Kentucky High School Athletic Association, confirmed the investigation was ongoing Monday, but would not release any additional information.

Officials at Johnson Central High School, including Coach Jim Matney, would not comment on the situation.

The football program has fared well during its first year in Class 5A, with a 8-1 overall record and a 3-1 mark in the district standings.

There are 280 member schools under the rule of the KHSAA.

I know there are other schools in commmonwealth that have been or are being investigated by the khsaa this school year.

Whats wrong with talking about it, nothing but factual information has been posted on this thread. It isnt like it is speculation, or a rumor, it is fact that there is an investigation being conducted.

Their not. East Ridge and Western have been mentioned in the past couple of weeks for having to forfeit games.

Nobody is throwing around reckless information or accusations, underarmour and we won't allow that.

 

Consider that JC is a big time player now in statewide football discussions. People are interested in the Golden Eagles and they want to know what is going on. If they have to forfeit any games (and nobody knows at this point) then it will be a hot topic. It affects the 5A playoffs and football crazy fans want to know.

 

I'd consider it a compliment to the program and not take offense.
