Why do you like the 6 class format? Don't you feel that with this few teams involved, it waters down the playoffs a bit?

I think they have a real chance to make it into the semis, after that, well I guess they will have to see who is in thier path!

I just can't figure B.G. out, you look at them run out on the field, look over at the other team, and ask yourself if there is anyway they can stay with the purples! I think they have as an impressive looking team as I have seen anywhere, but when they get into a game, they just can't put it together. I am talking about top flight competition in saying this. I reference the past 2 State title games.

They will have a VERY GOOD team, but I don't know if they have enough overall team speed to take the whole thing.

Belfry updates? Didn't you hear? They dropped football in favor of consentrating on basketball! LOL J/K I would say the Pirates will be right in the thick of it come Thanksgiving time. Basically, same story different year.

I'm just old school, I know legally you have to let the girls play if they want to, but I just wish they wouldn't.

The best offense is the one that scores the most points in a game! With that being said, there is no particular offensive scheme that is any better than any other. Talent dictates what you can do and cannot do on offense. Sometimes coaches need to pay attention to what you "cannot do" on offense. Doing what you can't do will get you in trouble quickly!

Cawood had some very good teams in the 80's as well.

All I can say is AWESOME! St. X will have an athletic complex that is second to none! I haven't seen any better anywhere!

I agree with your remarks, the field and athletic complex were donated funds and didn't come from board monies. I also agree that the school came in way over budget and the school itself was needed and overdue. The reason for my comment was because the posted that I replied to made a statement about the teacher cuts in that area. As you pointed out in your statement, belfry did get a lot of extras, staffing was one of them. It was taken away by a new administration. That's poltics my friends, you're in, then you're out. Your in the penthouse, then the outhouse! LOL Been in both places, I like the penthouse better! LOL

Pikeville can't do much about the district schedule, its just kinda the hand they are dealt, but they sure aren't ducking anyone with thier non-district schedule!

People, with out a doubt the best player ever from Kentucky is Paul Horning! 2 Super Bowls, MVP of the Super Bowl and in the pro football hall of fame. No one is even a close second.

Who do you have returning from last year? I can a shot at 5 possibly 6 wins with that schedule. At least you have several teams that you can be competitive with.
