Shouldn’t this last game be a home game?! They already seem to have 5 road games on the schedule…..and you’ve got me stumped….

Hoping that means a full schedule will be released very very soon……

This!! I was a there and it flows way way too much through Rondon…..He can only do so much….Turner and Starks should be coached up to be the forced you can tell they want to be and I think they both have in them based on what I saw tonight. The venue was electric for sure tonight. A ton of aggressive Defense on display and that was refreshing to see instead of it just being a shootout.

This seems like a legit mess. I watched it as well and it is ugly if even half of what He says is true…..or this could just be a Dad who is unhappy with His Son’s playing time over the course of His career and now just wants to rant. Either way…..Wow!

He was an 8th Grade QB for CCH youth football, went to Elder to play football as a Freshman and during Christmas Break of His Freshman year at Elder, Queen transferred to Cov. Cath. and then just this past Christmas Break as a Sophomore at Cov. Cath., Queen transferred to Beechwood. He has 2 years of eligibility left in Football.

While true, Beechwood has a number of kids from Boone County on their roster and with the slew of transfers around the 9th region and the state for that matter, over the past few years, I doubt there will be any issue with eligibility.

Love it. With their heavy NKY focus this is a good move.

Rumor going around is this a multi year home and home series past just 2 years….heard anything on that?

I would absolutely start Fryman at QB…..kid is elite, special, and has the “It” factor and just ooozes confidence and that’s want you want in that position…..He needs the ball in His hands every play. Nothing against the other options as they are all good players, but Fryman brings another talent level overall to the position. And yes, I am one of those CCH Folks not high on Queen especially with what we having coming in the pipeline and based off what offense we run. That said, Hayden has just about the most special arm talent I have seen in a while at the QB and He could move and move very very well. Queen cannot move…..at all. And I would worry after now arriving at His 3rd school since August 2023, and not starting at anyone of them(still TBD at His current 3rd school Beechwood), that He is chasing something He cannot catch and has lost His confidence. I would go all in on Fryman….regardless of where He plays, He will be crazy special to watch this year

How is Cooper not ranked?!?! They just beat Lloyd…..I said it at the beginning of the season when they were ranked #3 pre-season in the 9th region and I felt it was then and still is not too low and that they are underrated big time….

The only other thing I’ll say is I thought that was not the Colonels best game…..came out a bit flat, no press/trapping, shooting was not be best, several missed layups/easy field goals, and do not get me started about the Free Throws…..while I thought that was Lloyd playing at their top level, especially Walker……so yes, I do think Cov. Cath. comes out on top more times then not and is ona slightly different trajectory then Lloyd……when Lloyd and Cooper meet that will be a whale of a game. The Colonels are the clear #1 in the region, but it’s absolutely a 3 horse race between CCH, Lloyd, and Cooper with a dark horse that could easily emerge….

Cooper worries me as always…..that will be a slugfest.

This is exactly what I wanted to say. Not taking away from Walker’s performance at all in anyway, but an undersized CCH Squad played better and had a better gameplan and won. A ton, repeat a ton of credit goes to Coach Thelen for developing a great game plan, adjusting in-game, and then coaching the team up. McGillis put the team on his shoulders mid-way through the 3rd and was unguardable for a stretch until Harney (his work at the charity stripe over the last minute of the game going 6-6 was a master class) and Stewart (with the most clutch 3 trey’s I have ever seen) brought it home. Lloyd gave the Colonels everything they could handle and straight played their butts off and lost not due to a bad game, but by being outplayed in a close game with an absolute electric atmosphere for a Friday night in a high school gym.

Harney has sat out the last 2 games, any word on why and if He will miss the Lloyd game?

All 3 Colonels in that pic are only Juniors…..Colonels are loaded for next year. Colonels were close to an upset with about 2 minutes to go so I’ll take that for an early season warm up. Heck of a game.

Who do they play next?

Tate Kruer MLB/WR for Cov. Cath. should absolutely be on the list. Jacob Savage LB for Ryle and Austin Alexander DE/TE for Cooper should be on there as well

How long before you think we see the football players on the court? This weekend’s game?….. if I recall last year, it felt like an insanely quick turnaround…..
