I’ll take the Colonel D over anyone else in the state, period. PT is an unreal team that can steamroll other squads, but for the second week in a row our Colonels D stepped up and dropped a brutal hammer on the opposing offense. Best D in the state. Pitzer’s run towards the end of the game where He just trucked the defender, was a grown man playing football and just simply how The Colonels do it. And I hope colleges are paying attention to Ben Reeves as He is a game changer at DE. Congrats Colonels and onto STATE!!!

Couple of quick notes: - Athens will have games where he hits 8-10 3’s as he is lights out from deep. - Caleb Miller can take over games. - Athens is gonna be a problem on D. - Our D is getting beat off the dribble way too much and we are struggling to defend the 3. - Hussey is trying to do too much and needs to let the game come to him like the last 2 years. - We are struggling to dribble drive or hit the short range jumper outside of Athens who is clearly our best player right now. - We should be up by more as our normal intensity is not there. I am beyond anxious to see what Cash can do once injected into this lineup. He and Athens even as sophomores are going to be dangerous.

Nothing at all again our stout Defensive Backfield, but the Colonels front 7 tonight was devastating…..especially in the 2nd half was Eddie and Coach Brown were able to yet again make some spectacular halftime adjustments. Congrats to My Colonels and to the Colonel D on a helluva night!!! Go Colonels!!

I know this team beat an Ashland team that hung right with us, but I love our D and specifically our run D with the legit LB’ing corps we have and with the stout D Line play we are getting…..huge games for Big Ben, Tate Kruer, Willie, and lookout for Josh Flood to really establish He is back in this game. If they lean that much to the run, specifically right up the middle, it could be a long night for Johnson Central. And that is not even mentioning that Pitzer at QB is just heating up and getting started….Home Field is a huge advantage as well…..Colonels by 2 TD’s

My guess would be slim to none, especially if CCH Football makes it to the State Semi’s or the Championship game. He most likely won’t hit the Hardwood until mid-late December.

‘ppreciate that big time. That is a fantastic write up. I do agree that McGillis and Harney have the chance to be something extremely rare and special over the next few year. This year’s team will be extremely athletic and get up and down I believe quicker then last year’s squad. I was leery about guessing Bradshaw as a starter, thinking His length could get Him in there because outside of Miller, we don’t have much length again. Stewart and Johnson are such intriguing pieces…..if they both can take big next steps then we are going to be an even more dangerous team then we already are. Are there any Freshmen that could get some meaningful Varsity time or start JV. We always seem to have 1 or 2 every year, but have not heard of any. With such an unreal loaded Sophomore class, might be difficult for a Freshman to break through….

You could not be more right on that Sophomore class….gonna be crazy good over the next 3 years. I was not slighting Harney and I know you are not saying I was as I have heard He is an insane talent, and I could even be understating His talent with that statement, but admittedly I have never seen Him play and I unfortunately know nothing about His game. Can someone fill in the blank with a quick little blurb on just how insane He is…..I am really looking forward to seeing Him play because Harney is a ton of fun to watch on the football field.

My guess would be: G - Hussey G - McGillis G - Harney (once football ends) F - Bradshaw (once football ends) C - Miller Until football ends it will most likely be Wermuth for Harney and Stewart for Bradshaw Hussey, McGillis, and Miller are locks….

I could see that. Totally off topic of the transfer, I could not be more excited to watch Hussey play this as I really believe He is going to take a major step as a Senior. He has always been a lot of fun to key in on and watch during games, especially when He is on Defense

I would assume his info is good. Not questioning, just something like this drops and it’s like ducks on a pond….curiosity is killing me….and to the point above, how could an in season transfer from across the river be immediately eligible? I am not update to on those guidelines at all…..

Does anyone have any info on the transfer because I have spoke to multiple folks who are unaware of this. Not saying no one has transferred in, but it must have been way under the radar….love to get some info on this and how he figures in….

About 4-5 of Cov. Cath.’s best Freshman have solely been playing varsity now for about 4-5 weeks.

I am unfamiliar with the younger Pitzer….what is His size and what position(s) does He play? I agree Fryman is pretty special….anything specific you can point that makes you believe Pitzer can catch/pass Him.
