A terrific problem to have indeed. We have heard a ton about the skill players, are there any updates on the Lines?…..potential starters, rotations, breakout players? Also, fairly certain the LB corp is set for this year and next.

A Facebook post this morning from Willie’s gym states He is at 241 pounds, faster and more explosive……He is going to have a very special season. This is going to be fun to watch. Another word from out of Spring Ball is that Speed on full display and was the emphasis and that this could easily be The Colonels fastest team from top to bottom….

This is exactly what I heard.

Pretty much along the lines of what I heard. I got word that Ben Reeves at DE and the WR Johnson absolutely showed out all spring and that there could be a legit QB battle as everyone was spinning it, running well, and executing the offense with no issue. Willie and Tate Kreuer are the clear leaders on the team is the last thing I heard also.

Anyone have any updates or news out of Spring Practice? I heard all the QB’s looked damn good….

Cooper, Newport and a lot of other schools are doing it so let’s drop it and move on and focus on the team, season, players and the beauty of High School Hoops on a Friday night. Let’s move on.

Any truth to the McGillis rumor? I expect Bradshaw to be heavily featured. Started JV as a Freshman and in recent Colonel roundball history that usually means a big step up in year 2. I am truly excited to see what Hussey can do as a Senior without Ipsaro there. Hussey has been so rock solid for the last 2 years. Looking forward to His Senior year.

Big time offer here for Willie from Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss…..things should to start to really heat up for Willie….

Guess that was a bit vague…..I was told He was staying at Beechwood. I have no clue about what it had to do with, just that He was staying put. And while my info is from an extremely trusted source, most likely you or@Colonels_Wear_Blue have better info. If He is transferring and gets eligible in time, that would be a heck of a QB battle.

I can say for certain you would know better than I would, but I have been told the Harney move is a non-starter and not happening. Guessing you heard different and if so I would trust you….

That’s the way I took it and would not have if any other way. I say keep it coming.

Since it was my comment I can say we are going to be much better then we have been in the last 2 years which means I believe we can more easily accomplish our goal of another state title. Not that I think it will be easy in 4A or easy because we moved to 4A. I have no clue because I am woefully uneducated on 4A outside of Boyle, Corbin, and JC. My post was to give out some info on My Colonels in hopes of getting info back on other 4A teams to get some education. As always I just hope everyone gets after it because a Friday night in the fall just cannot be beat. Bring it 4A! Love this. Go Colonels.
