Teagarden is staying….our D should be scary next year…..with these coaches and the extreme talent in our front 7…..straight up scary.

? ...I mean they met the team so I guess it’s OK to let the birdie out of the bag...get it!!! The other one is Carter Black class of ‘17 I believe who is the new OLine Coach and that is a tremendous addition...absolutely tremendous.

Some serious new additions to the CCH Staff were at workouts today to meet the players. Big big time hires…..I assume that means it’s public, but still holding off…..one of the hires is going to mess with one of our rivals big time!!! Our Defense and OLine just got a load better by far…..these are both in addition to Coach Woolf!

"The Colonels always seem to start slow" is a running theme throughout this season. They need to find a remedy for that right now. And I could give a crap about officials. It was a historically bad shooting night for the Colonels versus an absolutely insane shooting night for MC on MC’s home floor. Hard to beat a team twice and the Colonels will not shoot like that again. There is no such thing as a good loss to me, but I agree about the chip this could give them and I think it will really light their engines. Playoffs are next and I have no worries….they have played size before and have beaten size….they have seen everything thrown at them so they are ready. Congrats to MC on a great game. Time to roll.

Based on the multiplier that the KHSAA add to private school enrollment, it kicks our enrollment up to around 720 which puts us in 6A….there a ton of smarter guys on here than me that can explain a lot better. New rule that just dropped yesterday for the ‘27 season….hopefully I am wrong and way way off here.

I’ll chime in and hopefully get this thread going a bit…..my info is that the deal is done and this is going to a whale of an awesome thing for the Colonels in the building and for all future Colonels. That being said will we stick with the 3-4 or are we moving to a 4-3 or a 5-2? And now that workouts have commenced anyone want to take a crack at the lineups? I have to assume Dylan Courtney now carries the keys to offense for the next 2 seasons…. And thanks to the KHSAA, is everyone excited about moving to 6A in ‘27?

Yup! Told He wants it and they want Him. Just trying to make it work. This would be a monster get that makes the whole program better by far…..been a long time coming….

Doubtful…I am told they are going to swing for the fences on this one…I have no name or other info than that at the moment. I am told they will move very very fast on this...if Shelton stays with the program and keeps getting better, he could have a huge future with the program. Definitely a name/Coach to watch.

Anyone hearing any names to replace Coach Ledonne? And I am certain if Smith warrants touches on offense He will get them. I have no doubt Smith will figure in somehow on offense

McGillis is just ridiculous right now….He is playing above everyone at the moment…..and more importantly, I do not believe enough can be said about all the things big and small that Stava does on a nightly basis….He is a defensive Hurricane and He is becoming an unstoppable rebounder. Love watching that kid play.

They usually go 9 deep easy, but they rode last night with their top players for sure……

Nothing is ever certain except death and taxes, but there is no clear competition in the 9th for The Colonels…..far too athletic with a bench that could be competitive themselves for the 9th region crown……also, they play a schedule that sets the stage for them to possibly run the table in the state…..some years there is just a team…..due to a few years of very hard work and outstanding coaching, it’s the Colonels turn to make a run…….

Any idea on where you can get tix for Monday’s game and cost and if you can get them at the door?

Harney has been off to a slow scoring start, but if He starts pouring it on point wise, this is going to be even a bigger problem for everyone else from here on out….

How would they? While Highlands returns their whole starting lineup, so does CCH with the addition of Myrick…the result last year was a sound Cov Cath win and the Colonels have vastly improved over last year. The Gap has widened not closed….not to mention The Colonels are far deeper then last year going 10 deep with a legit starting 5 on their bench making the Colonels bench immensely better then what Highlands can go to. It is not that Highlands is a bad team by any stretch at all, as they are a very good and talented team, as they are most years, but it is just not enough…..this year. And unless the kid’s last name is Frederick, Vinson, Kinney, Walker, Kunkel, or VonHandorf,( I am sure there a few more), one player returning is not going to turn the tide that far.

Sure is…..no in NKY touches this team this year and it’s not even close….

Comedy is one kid coming in well after the season started and suggesting He will make an impact in beating the #2 ranked team in state and that the Colonels would be nervous. They just smoked the #20 ranked team in the state, on the road, this past weekend and Highlands is unranked. Highlands is very well coached, with proven players who can straight ball, but all of that and one kid is not going to make a difference this year. And I am very much in agreement that no one around here is good enough to dictate to a team when they will show up and play. I have no doubt of His talent and character, but no one is that good and deserves that kind of special treatment. How entitled are we trying to make this generation?! Weak Sauce. Football is over, you lace’em up and move to Hoops or you do not….it’s pretty simple until we say a kid is good enough to dictate terms and schedules. Seems to me to be all about theater…..just show up and play or don’t. It’s that simple until adults choose to entitle kids. And I am not just saying it about this kid…..this applies 1,000% across the board, period.

I was there last night and I would argue the Colonels second 5 off the bench of Geiser, Meyer, Courtney, Brecount and Bode would be the beat almost all if not all the teams in the 9th region….I would love to see the scrimmages in practice…..the athleticism of this squad cannot be matched…..wow
