2024 All State Teams

Featured Replies

Can't wait to see how this All-State team gets sorted out ?

Anyway, here are some of the best players I've seen this year in person and on film (Mostly 6A, fyi):

DE Dillon Smith, WR Landon Lorms, K Gavin Moses, LB Jacob Savage - Ryle

WR Aveion Chenault, RB Dakari Talbert, LB Kaden Clay - Frederick Douglass

WR Maurice Stephens, LB Santee Brock - Ballard

DB Miller Brown - Oldham County

DE Karsten Busch, LB Luka Bentz, K Logan Zoeller, ATH Marlon Harbin - Louisville St. X

ATH/DB Antonio Harris, RB Chayce Burton, OL Isaac Sowells - Male

QB Kaden Mack, DE Cameron Jessee - Manual

QB Brady Atwell - Owensboro Cath

WR/RB Montavin Quisenberry, RB Demauriah (sp?) Brown - Boyle County

P/K Carson Hilbert, LB Nick Lococo, LB Jack DeBellis, OL Nate Shields, DB LA Evans, DB Caleb Ricks, LB JC Wilson, DE Sebastian Blue, DL Bailey Vance - Trinity

Would get my vote for All-State: Quisenberry, Atwell, Hilbert (both K/P), Vance, Ricks, Shields, Harris, Sowells, Harbin, D. Smith, J. Savage, Chenault, Stephens

Where is D. Brown from Boyle going to college? I haven't seen his name anywhere since Boyle lost. That kid gutted us  (FDHS).

Of course, Quisenberry is the big time star, but man, after this season's production, I would think Brown would be mentioned just as much as Quisenberry is.

You don’t have any of Beechwood’s players on your list.  Beechwood was written off against the big bad offensive line and running attack of LCA in the semis then was written off again the next week against the all world Brady AtwellI in the finals then almost put a running clock on both teams.  I can think of at least 4-5 players that should be on that list. Clay Hayden, James Cusick, Luke Erdman, Cole Howard and Jack Meier.  All 5 of these players were standouts the entire season and definitely 5 of the best players in NKY.

Tate Kruer MLB/WR for Cov. Cath. should absolutely be on the list.

Jacob Savage LB for Ryle and Austin Alexander DE/TE for Cooper should be on there as well

I will just have to add Kade Elam to this conversation too. young man was a absolute unit in the QB position.

Just a few QB's, Offensive Skill- saw in person or noticed on some youtube film that can and are going to play on the next level,  most in L-Ville Area -KY is producing more D1/FCS talent than maybe ever before it seems. Overall QB play is way ahead of where it was just 10-15 years ago. Know there are many more.

QB's - Brady Atwell - OC, Cade Scott-Meade Co., Connor Hodge- CAL, Mason Trimble-X,  Bryce Button-SW

RB's/Offensive Players - Gerion Traynor-Manual, Luke Ballard-Great Cross., Marlon Harbin-St. X, Antonio Harris-Male, Chayce Burton- Male, Cortez Stone-Central, Maurice Stevens-Ballard, Jessie Cameron- TE/DE-Manual, Willis Nofsinger-WR - Manual, Aveion Chenault-FD, Anthony Barbee-X, Ronald Lunz - North Hardin

Also forgot to mention Chase Flaherty from Beechwood.  Kid ran for over 1500 yards on very limited carries.  Most fans think of Beechwood as more of a passing team with their record breaking QB and their speedy wideouts but don’t sleep on Flaherty he was a beast the entire season.

ATH Dane Parsley from Warren East needs to be an honorable mention. Played QB, wherever defensively, one of the better HS punters in the state, and would also kick XP’s. Great 4 year career, would be well deserved.

In the original post it was stated that the list of players was primarily 6A and athletes that the poster has watched.

Thanks for correcting me ASJ but in the original post he also had the Atwell kid and others listed that played in classes other than 6A.  If I recall Atwell played and lost to Beechwood in the 2A finals.  Hayden’s numbers are just as impressive and he has led Beechwood to not 1 but 2 state championships in the last 3 years.  How many state championships has OC won the last 3 years.  I will take championships over stats any day.  My vote for all state QB goes to Clay Hayden!

He doesn't get a lot of love from colleges because of his height.

Right. There's still plenty of local, statewide programs that would benefit from his ability. Curious to see where he lands.
