  1. Here we go.........Students transfer inside of JCPS schools all the time no one sits out. In all county schools you have to have a change of residence. - Transfer to a private school anywhere in the state and no issues...completely different set of rules. Privates should be separated just like in TN.
  2. CA reloads, after losing some big time players, well coached... and no one in 3A will come close challenging them.
  3. Coach Williams is a great guy and great coach. Didn't understand that move at all...Glad to hear they have Coach Walker.
  4. Who made the schedule for PRP? Brutal. Last minute decision on a coach and in a top 6A district.... Will be a difficult year.
  5. Don't know how good South is but Meade lost a lot of production from last year...a really good QB who is at Tulane and some solid receivers. They were really competitive last year in one of the best 6A districts in the state...just missing a few athletes to be really good. Coach Powers and hard nosed kids will get it going in their new district in the West.
  6. Know Central lost quite a bit but Manual may be really good again. They have the athletes but can they keep it together down the stretch.
  7. Don't know how good Owensboro is..they have some nice athletes and Hampton is a heck of a back but St. X looked dominant. Returned a lot from last year and using Busch on Offense. They could make a run.
  8. Not fooling myself and know what it takes. Have been around and know what I have seen.
  9. You are right Guru, saw some of the game on Youtube and the ship, canon or whatever, got rolling early and was hard to stop.
  10. Do they return some of their skill and QB? If so, they could be really good in their new district and region. Their QB, Scott, will be one the top QB's in the state and they had a RB Rainey? that may have been best RB on the field against Manual.
  11. Everyone has an off-season program, and many are very organized and demanding. Many players and coaches from across the state work very hard-ultimately in the end, talent is going to win if you are able to get talent from all over the area and combine that with discipline and good coaching.
  12. Many states, mostly larger states, do All-State teams by classes. Maybe that is the answer to recognize players. That being said, do not think we will ever get a 1st Team that will satisfy everyone. One all State team for roughly 220 teams ( 6,000 or so players?) is difficult.
  13. This is voted on by the coaches that turned in their ballots....... Mr. Frakes and the C.J. just count the votes. Film, stats, teams, who they saw play all play a part. A player may play on a state championship team but just like the draft and recruiting they may not be one of top players.
  14. Coach Mofield did a great job. After they were moved into the difficult District 3 in 6A got a chance to watch Meade a little more. Well coached, played hard, and had some solid parts for a really good team and look to have great facilities. Overall, need a few athletes and depth to win consistently against the likes of ST X, Manual, etc. Almost beat Great Crossing, who was in the semis, and saw where they had over 400 yards offense against ST. X. Believe if they had stayed in their old district they would have probably gotten to the regional finals. If they stay in the same district this job will be tough, if they end up back in their old district and region this looks to be a solid job in 6A.
  15. Just a few QB's, Offensive Skill- saw in person or noticed on some youtube film that can and are going to play on the next level, most in L-Ville Area -KY is producing more D1/FCS talent than maybe ever before it seems. Overall QB play is way ahead of where it was just 10-15 years ago. Know there are many more. QB's - Brady Atwell - OC, Cade Scott-Meade Co., Connor Hodge- CAL, Mason Trimble-X, Bryce Button-SW RB's/Offensive Players - Gerion Traynor-Manual, Luke Ballard-Great Cross., Marlon Harbin-St. X, Antonio Harris-Male, Chayce Burton- Male, Cortez Stone-Central, Maurice Stevens-Ballard, Jessie Cameron- TE/DE-Manual, Willis Nofsinger-WR - Manual, Aveion Chenault-FD, Anthony Barbee-X, Ronald Lunz - North Hardin
