Top Northern Kentucky Football Players Class of 2026

Featured Replies

Who will be some of the top football players in NKY class of 2026? Can't wait for football season.

He won't get mentioned among the top guys, but I think that Dixie's QB Mason Fields is really good and under-recruited.

He has the size 6'4 around 220 pounds.

You say class of 2026 so I am only listing players that will graduate in 2026. We'll list the players who were stat producers last year as juniors and then move on from there:

QB Cam O'Hara, Cooper - Ranked #8 recruit in KY on 247 sports https://247sports.com/season/2026-football/RecruitRankings/?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool&State=KY

LB/RB Jacob Savage, Ryle

OL Max Merz, Highlands - Ranked #12 in KY by 247sports

QB/DB Cash Harney, Covington Catholic

RB Dylan Gaiser, Covington Catholic

QB Nathan Verax, Ryle

QB Rio Litmer, Highlands

WR Grayson Harris, Simon Kenton

RB Keagan Maher, Cooper

DB Ryker Campbell, Cooper

QB Lucas Anthrop, Campbell County

QB Kaleb Evans, Lloyd

RB Dameyn Anness, Ludlow

The potential is there. Statistically, just average last year.

I know Tayden is class of 2027, what class is Gabe?

If I'm not mistaken didn't Harris lead KY in receiving yards last year? Or was at least in the top 5 for majority of the year?

Top receiver in 6A for most of the season.

I knew I saw him at top somewhere. Nasty combo with him and Weaver, I know Weaver was up near the top also in 6A. Whose throwing to them this year? Probably going to be a little less airing it out though with Lucas gone. I think Lucas' logic was...when in doubt air it out.

Certainly some average stats, but I think that is a little more indicative of the supporting cast than him. Big kid with a very live arm and can move a bit. Really good player imo.

I know Pendleton played qb at Bellevue so he might be the next qb. Not sure. They have several options.

I see the supporting cast last year being better than this year. Gregg and Anderson are big losses. Fields being better this year will be because he did the work and has grown from last year’s experience.
