This is what high school football playoffs are about. Two very good football teams who have proved they are extremely tought to beat year in year out. Great coaching staffs and players who will leave it all on the field tonight. Should be an exciting game. Colonels have talented QB that can keep the defense honest and Boyle has a really stingy defense. Boyle has big play capability and Catholic LB's were laying some licks at JC. Colonels score just enough 24-21.

Should be a great atmosphere. Bell is very tough at home. Will be a challenge for Rock but going with Rock 35-34. Jackson if healthy can be the difference maker.

Give me Saint X 24 to 14. Different Boyle team this year. Wild cards Quisenberry and Brown are not in the arsenal. Defense is good and the offense is starting to flow but X to much even at Title Town.

Dawson was a great athlete for sure. I think that the interest in Driver comes from his upside. Already 6'7" and very explosive and a sophomore to boot. Two more years to grow, mature and get stronger. Beast athlete for sure.

Sam Montgomery has been a workhorse for GC this year. He keeps improving and is a fun player to watch.

Garrard steps up competition this week. Be interesting to see how the Lions respond.

Comes down to the big guys up front. If GC can create some space they have capable running backs. They can make it respectful if they can win up front. If they can't control line of scrimmage they will struggle. Good Luck to the Golden Lions.

Hearing both Garrard and Lincoln have some injuries that could throw some younger less experienced players into key roles. Be fun to watch these coaching staffs get the season started.

DCA comes into this big district matchup shooting hot and riding a three-game win streak. The addition of Brayden Fugate seems to be helping the Warriors already stellar lineup with big time plays at crucial moments. Boyle on the other hand is struggling to score over the past couple games. The Rebels have lots of athleticism but are just not very cohesive at this point. Setting at 1-5 on the season things are looking a little shaky even though the talent is there for the Rebels. DCA can set the tone for the 45th in this matchup. Boyle on the other hand can prove they are legit if they can keep pace offensively with the Warriors. What is going on with the rebels? Warriors are just better in this game. DCA 70 Boyle 46

Looking at schedules Garrard looks to have played better competition. Going with Garrard in a close one 60-59

Really odd seeing the Patriots ranked 14. I believe they are more like solid 6/7 but this week will show if they belong there.

Pats played without SR PG Connor Davis which would have made a big difference and started a a freshman PG Baird and 3 sophomores. Pretty good showing considering they only return Davis & Nuckols who played any varsity minutes over the last year. Coach Jackson is a wizard at putting the pieces together for a good team which will be competitive as the year progresses. Horton twins will help to strengthen the front court and with Davis back LC will be fine.

Quisenberry was about 70 % of Boyles offense vs Corbin. That is the key to beating Boyle is stopping Quisenberry which no has came close all year. Boyle has some good players but # 5 is the driving force. Without him Boyle is the team watching on Friday night.

Rockcastle is a different team with Warren and company. Hope the Rockets play well but Catholic is a tough out during November. Pulling for the Rockets in this one at home Rockets 24 Knights 21. Rock wins with Big Brenda FG. ?

Larry French is one of the best coaches all time in Kentucky. He will have his team ready but just not enough fire power to pull off the upset. Good luck to the Yellow Jackets.
