DCA comes into this big district matchup shooting hot and riding a three-game win streak. The addition of Brayden Fugate seems to be helping the Warriors already stellar lineup with big time plays at crucial moments. Boyle on the other hand is struggling to score over the past couple games. The Rebels have lots of athleticism but are just not very cohesive at this point. Setting at 1-5 on the season things are looking a little shaky even though the talent is there for the Rebels. DCA can set the tone for the 45th in this matchup. Boyle on the other hand can prove they are legit if they can keep pace offensively with the Warriors. What is going on with the rebels?  Warriors are just better in this game.

Boyle has not played very well defensively right now.  The Rockcastle game they got down by 17 but put the pressure on the second half and took the lead.  But missing 6 free throws in a row hurt them.  But the last 2 game the D has not showed up and that should be one of the strengths with this team.  I believe that they will turn it around and hope to see it Tuesday night.  

I would be surprised if this one is a blowout either way.  Give me the Warriors @ Home 62-57.

Neither Boyle nor any other team can count on generating offense by turning over teams that have good backcourts. Rock is a good team in many ways but ball handling is not their strength. I didn’t see these games but do know that Rock is very different than Central Hardin and Larue, both of who have strong guard play. Point being the same pressure D can get you very different results depending on who you’re playing. What’s effective defensively depends at least in part on the other team’s personnel.
