Respectfully, not sold on Ballard as #1. Good team and great athletes, but they should have put away LC sooner. I’ll take N. Laurel and/ or Cov Cath as my #1. My opinion only folks.

Lex Cath gets #1 Ballard, yikes. LC is going to have to bring their “A” game to beat a very talented and athletic Bruins.

5 players with little to no depth is not going to cut it in the 11th region. Too many tough teams in that region.

(2) 7 footer going up against each other at the 4:00pm game.

How so? I mean they have Ballard and Mad Central on the side🤔 and N.Laurel and GRC are contenders on the other side of bracket. Seems pretty even bracket.

Is the the only game you’re interested in watching? I mean there are plenty of great basketball match up throughout the day. Unless you just don’t like being out on Sundays 🤔.

I believe Sir their AD is the same as their OC, so he’s been there since the fall semester.

Coach Matthew (forgot first name) sorry. OC for Lafayette, left to go back to Shelby Co, now back as OC at Lafayette. I believe also HS record setter in numerous category when he played at Shelby 🤷🏻‍♂️.. Maybe.

I can't answer the 1st question, but I'll try my best to answer the 2nd. Coach Atchley is a proven winner. Just look at what he did with LCA prior to him leaving. 6-6, 8-5, 12-1, 11-2, 9-4, I believe he was the OC for Lafayette before that. So to answer why he would be a fit, I guess he's a winner, he has a great offensive mind, he is likeable dude at least when he was at LCA, his wife did teach at a Lexington public school at the time.

If it's true, then his application should be in by the deadline tomorrow for Lex Catholic job. Why I say this, cause he has applied before. Just my opinion ya'll.

Living in the heart of them all, I follow all of 42nd and 43rd district basketball quit a lot. Just saying the way they beat their opponent is quit impressive.

Looking at KHSAA scoreboard, LC has been putting up tons of points and giving up very little. I know it's early in the season, but WOW. With the lost of Mr. Basketball/ Ben Johnson, I thought they would be a little let down.
