  1. Lex Catholic plays district foe in Lafayette on Tuesday, play again on Thursday night vs. Scott Co, then travel to Trinity on Friday... that is if the weather permits. I still say the top 3 you mentioned will be a tough out in the 11th.
  2. He ain't lying y'all. Opening for a head coach position at Lafayette posted TODAY 1-28-2022, Interesting.
  3. I'm pretty sure it's going to be J. Hawk. Stay tune today @ 3.
  4. That’s a good hire. Coach Ethan was the OC at LHS and was very successful at LCA as the head man after that. Still boggles me that he left for Bullitt East.
  5. You said the key word “fayette” county and the district of course, but outside of that. 🤔
  6. They have hired one, but will not announce till later this week. What's the hold up, I have no idea.
  7. WOW! 28 pages on this topic and still no announcement lol.
  8. Henry Clay and Lex Catholic will be a tough out in their respective district and 11th region. Teams are jelled together mid- way through the season.
  9. DJ from Woodford might/ will be coming home. Please emphasize on *might.
  10. Can anybody guess or have some insight on Douglass, Scott Co and Great Crossing moving up to 6A or stay at 5A? Also if Lexington Catholic and/ or Boyle Co. moving down to 3A or staying at 4A? Thanks.
  11. Just to confirm, KHSAA actually announce the upcoming alignment a year/ a season prior to the current one ending? Reason I asked because I see GC's comment in May 2018 stating approved alignment for 2019-2022, Thx.
  12. THEY DO NOT WANT TO PLAY UP. Not because for athletics, they like their school to be small... teacher to student ratio, thus them staying in 1A and or 2A.
  13. It's a private school Sir, they can do what ever they want. Let me ask you this, can you tell me any different?
  14. For the past 2 decades, they have been 1A and moved to 2A 4-5 years ago. You mean to tell me that the school has not grown in 20 plus years? And every surrounding schools, public and private have gone up as far as their enrollment. And NO I will not reveal any source.
  15. That I can't answer Sir. I know they have some nice players back with possible D1 talent. Over a 1,200 yd rusher, O-Linemen that is being touted by UK, a WR that is talented and contributed a lot last season. I mean if we looked at Lex Catholic history, they have done/ faired well but can't seem to get over the hump and get by Boyle Co the past 4-5 years.
  16. Sorry I can't answer those question and I don't want to speculate. I know the campus 1,200-1,300 students Pre- K, grade school, middle school and high school, but the HS side is low and they like to keep it that way.
  17. Have you seen LCA's campus or walked through the hallways? It's made for an enrollment of 1K instead of 400ish. It's a MEGA building with acres of land around that surrounds it.
  18. I can only speak for the surrounding area schools. I believe that Scott Co. and Great Crossing will move to 6A. Douglass probably does not and will not move up cause they will avoid the Louisville power 6A. All other Lexington area public schools will stay at 6A. Lex Cath is interesting, they have an enrollment of 800ish give or take, so I'm assuming stay at 4A or could drop to 3A? LCA will stay at 2A, they like their enrollment low so they can compete in the lower class and ALL- A class (basketball). Woodford, GRC, East and West Jessamine will stay at current class, along with Mad Cent and South. Just my prospective and opinion.
