If BW isn’t in the top 30, consider me stunned.

I’m sure the Tigers would love to see Mayfield in a state championship game, after beating them last year. To be the best, you must beat the best. It would only seem fitting for this graduating class to beat mayfield in a state championship.

I can’t help but think of Beechwood’s Defense from last year, adding an Elite D1 Talent being the reason they don’t lose if it comes down to the trilogy. The Tigers Defense hardly lost any starters and gained the highest rated defensive talent in the state. Who wouldn’t love to see Robinson/Berger/Waddell and company go against a top level talent like Boley?

Still have to find a QB. The Sophomore Hayden is as of now I’m guessing the starter. He is a big piece to this team. He has plenty of time to grow as he is young. Thankfully he will have what I think will be an even better defense than last year. The tigers will rely on defense early, until the Offense can start to click.

He was at practice today. Confirmed a Beechwood Tiger for the fall season, and then I’m sure off to college. ROLL TIGERS!

All I will say is, I think we get an confirmation of where he’s going to school August 1st.

As far as I know beechwood is the only of the two who allow early graduation.

Highly unlikely he is going to Highlands according to some information I’ve received.

He’s yet to be at practice as far as I’ve heard. MaxPreps is about as useful as the weather man.

BW defense this year should be even stronger, as surprising as that sounds. They lose very little, and have, in my opinion the best LB core in 2A and possibly in NKY. Xavier Campbell and Torin O’Shea come back as starters on the DL who were at the front of the attack. Expect this team on defense to be stifling. It seems hard to one up last year, but I have a good feeling this team will be even more special than last year on defense.

They play in 2A. They have to play Newport due to district, and NC is rivalry game dating back 20+ years. Make sure you check the scores against the 5-6A schools too. Last time Ryle and BW met, tigers were victorious too might I had. Rash does as best he can to schedule up, he can’t help his district play.

Another name to add to that list is Austin Waddell of Beechwood. Kid is a force at MLB. Has put on even more size this off season and expect him to anchor the defense yet again. Expect big things out of him this year!

Unless you’re crossing the river to play for a GCL school I don’t really see a point. When we cross the water, we typically play the best of the best in Cincinnati. So it makes sense we don’t come out as victors in most of those games. Take Lakota West out of that group. Colerain makes a little bit more sense.

I understand Highlands from the academic standpoint, but what puts them above Beechwood right now? Family ties? Tradition? Because truthfully I don’t see any reason they are a better choice than Beechwood.

Figured Berger would get the nod. I’m not familiar with the rest of the state, did beechwood get a tough draw?

The biggest thing going forward will be pitching depth. Berger is a clear #1 pitcher, but when do you use him? It’s survive and advance but what game in the tournament do you want to use your best arm? Berger has looked the most consistent all year on the mound, while the rest of the starters have done well majority of the season, there’s been some lapses. If the Tigers can have all their starters, and their relief up to par they will be hard to beat. I don’t fear the offense being the problem, I fear it being the pitching. This is when you need everyone at their best.

Clay Hayden as a freshman last year for Beechwood got some varsity minutes, when games got out of hand. In those short minutes he impressed me, and instantly made me not so worried about who the next QB will be for the Tigers. He can flat out sling it. More Pro-Style, which will be a change of pace from what the Tigers have done these last couple of years with Cam. But with Berger in your backfield, I assume the offense will be very balanced next year. Hayden is one to keep eyes on next season, and seasons to follow.

Their closer O’Shea has looked great coming out to the bullpen as well. I think he’s only given up 1H and 0R. Has closed the Campbell County, and Oak Hills games, both of which were the only two very close for the Tigers.

Was kind of thinking the same thing. I expect Danville to be the #1 favorite, with Beechwood behind them. Seeing Sayre beat LCA is enough to tell me they can play with anyone!

Who are the favorites to win this years All A?
