  1. Happy to announce that this game can be heard live audio only on (859) Sports Radio!!
  2. Thank you so much @FrankNicodemus for the kind words as always! There's only one thing I would love more than broadcasting HHS and Cooper and that would be seeing my daughter get married, which is what we are doing next weekend! So this is it for me for this football season. I'm honored that this game is our 300th on (859) Sports Radio in 4 1/2 years. Hard to believe! Thanks go great fans like you we've made it to 300.
  3. We're so excited to announce that we will be broadcasting the Cooper at Southwestern game Friday at 7:30 on (859) Sports Radio!!
  4. I have reached out to the Bryan Athletic Director and waiting to hear back. We would love to travel to Bryan Station to bring this game to our fans in the (859) on 859SportsRadio.com! They would have to allow us to do streaming video as well, we will see.
  5. I love Dixie and Coach Burke has done an incredible job with them and they are right there! But if you're referring to the stats on the KHSAA, the are not accurate for team stats. It shows rushing yards allowed at 375 and HHS had 421 alone.
  6. The defending 6A state champs travel north to take on the surging Ryle Raiders in Union. We are (859) Radio are excited for this matchup and you will be able to watch it live on (859) Sports Radio!!!
  7. Also the game of the week on (859) Sports Radio!!! One of the polls out there has Collins ranked ahead of Cooper. Can't wait for this Goodin vs O'Hara matchup.
  8. I had said on other broadcasts we were trying to get this game, but I have a conflict Friday so no games on (859) this week. The best of health to these two teams. Looking forward to BGP updates. Should be a good one.
  9. Really think Dixie at Cooper is the better game and we haven’t seen Dixie yet so that’s why. And Dixie intrigues the heck out of me taking both Beechwood and Cch to the brink. That tells me a lot. Met Armani Gregg at the cch and Dixie freshman game last night. Can’t wait to see him. Isaiah Johnson leads the state in receiving. Should be a shootout.
  10. I grade them an incomplete with Yuri Collins Comer going out in the first quarter with the sprained ankle. He's the top weapon and you can't be one trick pony running the QB every play. LexCath is too good. So with Caleb Evans playing soon I would think and when Comer comes back we will then see if they are who we thought they were. So two devastating was the fumble at the end of the half and the slip at the 5 on the opening kickoff to Lloyd. Ballgame.
  11. We've had this on our radar for a while and this can be seen on (859) Sports Radio! I know the Juggs can run and have speed all over the field and are at home and Erlanger will be rocking. Please tune in and spread the word!
  12. I'm told this is the 150th Battle for the Paddle between Bellevue and Dayton, as the 3-3 Tigers visit the 4-2 Greendevils. We have never had the opportunity to broadcast this famous rivalry, but that changes Friday 10/6 at 7:00. This game will be broadcasted live on (859) Sports Radio!
  13. I hate taking weeks off, but a very important wedding to attend to that night, so (859) Radio has the night off. But weather permitting, doing 8th Grade LexCath at Union Raiders for my color men Kevin and Travis Connor who coach the Raiders, wednesday 9/27 at 8:30.
  14. Had this one on the schedule for quite some time and I think it comes down to a last possession kind of game. You can watch it on (859) Sports Radio at 7:30.
  15. Great preview! If you can't make it to Union, this is the (859) Sports Radio game of the week. Logan Verax is a tough kid, if anyone can get ready to play it's him.
  16. If a direct link ever doesn't work, it means it may have been inadvertently ended and we would be forced to put another link on 859SportsRadio.com. This site will always have the most current link. It's only happened twice I think.
  17. Appreciate that!! But it's 859SportsRadio.com ha Email us! @theguruloves that! lol
  18. Since 2010 HHS has a 7-5 record against Ryle. Until CCH started their current streak, Ryle was just about the only NKY team to beat them. This is one of the best rivalries NKY has going. Can't wait go get to Ft Thomas.
  19. Hey we're in the top 3 and ahead of NFHS, Max and Netflix! I can go to bed a very happy man.
  20. I broadcasted about 750 games/events in 14 years at CCH. Approaching 300 very soon in 4 1/2 years on (859). And I have the best staff anyone could ever ask for. Kevin and Travis Conner on color, Bill Bartlett on camera. Hoops Jason Elfers, Dave Hartmann, Nell Fookes, Doug Schloemer, Bert Richie, Greg Spencer. Volleyball Becky Tenkmann Mirrick and Shawn Schwartz. Students graduated on camera Zoe Collins and Anna Gregory. We're nothing without these people.
  21. That's why we label you a "Premium" listener/viewer!!
  22. Don't think that's been an issue with us, but I certainly get it. I have games inadvertently ended and had to put a different game on the site, which is why I don't publish individual links to games as they could last minute change and added as a new Meridix link. The 859SportsRadio.com site is always the one stop shop place to go. Some have also been confused by our name "Radio", since we more often than not do video. To explain and a little back story, when we started in February of 2019 we didn't do video, but audio only. Coming of 14 years at CovCath as CovCath Radio, I had radio on the brain. A couple of years later, we could do video, but it took a ton of hotspot data, and paying for this myself, I stuck with audio only. NCC put out the call for someone to broadcast the Beechwood game with video and we volunteered. I said we could do it, but I needed a hotspot with lots more data than I had. My NCC contact put me in contact with @Ken Morgan who owns Cricket Wireless. Ken provided us with a hotspot for the game and it went off without a hitch. The next day I asked where I could return it. Ken's response was use it for all of your broadcasts and I'll just be your sponsor. So that's how our relationship began and to this day Ken is our only Sponsor and has been a HUGE part of our success.
