Goodin Needs To Be A Great'n To Beat Rested, Hungry Jags

Records: Collins (6-4) | Cooper (8-2)

BGP Rankings: Cooper (#6 in 5A)

Week 11 Results: Collins lost to Great Crossing | Cooper had a bye week

Series History: First ever meeting

Teaser Preview: A very brief introduction to Kade Goodin...  He's the younger brother of former Collins star Kenyon Goodin and he may be the best freshman quarterback in the state. His night against Great Crossing - 500 yards of total offense - has left him a few completions shy of 2,000 passing yards and put him over a thousand rushing with 36 combined touchdowns.

He may need to be that good again to keep the Titans close to Cooper.

It won't matter in the end if Collins' defense doesn't show up. They've displayed a tendency to disappear in the big games and the Jags have the pieces to pile on the points in a hurry.

If Goodin is the best frosh quarterback this year, Cam O'Hara is the premier sophomore. He ranks among the state's top ten in passing yards and touchdowns with just five picks.

This game may serve as a preview for the future of quarterbacking in the commonwealth. The way they've both played this season, the future is here.

Podcast game of the week!

Also the game of the week on (859) Sports Radio!!!  One of the polls out there has Collins ranked ahead of Cooper.  Can't wait for this Goodin vs O'Hara matchup.
