  1. Lets try this instead ... CameronHergottBeechwoodHighSchool2021UpdatedFinal 02082022.pdf And highlight link: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/9579669/614bc3aeff027617c4736ebe
  2. Great list of players this year ... obviously a fan of Cameron Hergott ... when you look at this one pager -- it speaks to a few things that have never been done before. 3 Finals MVP's and in 2 different classes is a cool stat that may not happen again. 3. Your QB will be a Super Senior this coming year, correct?
  4. Funny how I am not fired up at all (why would I be fired up?--Nothing here to be upset about other than the fact that it seems like all of these great Lexington programs are never really going to get it -- which actually makes my life incredibly happy--and makes my future outlook just as sunny). You know--it takes a real tough guy to say things like this over the internet -- the best part is -- its basic projection. You have one thing to talk about. We get it. If you go back to my original response to your first post -- do you not realize that the number of D1 athletes just makes it easier for people to question what the priorities are for the program(s) that you are speaking about? Does it not occur to you, that while you are bragging about D1 athletes, that there maybe kids in these programs who may be getting frustrated -- because there is more of an emphasis on D1 athletes -- than there is on TEAM accomplishments? This was supposed to be related to Lexington programs getting with it ... so you really think that acquiring D1 athletes is what makes a great coach? Or, is maybe the coaching is not so great -- since a few of these Lexington powerhouse teams can't find a way to win the big game with all that D1 talent. (Pretty sure the kids consider it more than just "a trophy"). So--say what you will -- until you actually address the question above -- its just more bluster to go with the arrogance that you show time and time again. Winning championships is the goal -- not bragging about D1 talent.
  5. Good call -- Pretty sure the score from the last two seasons: Beechwood 2 State Championships LCA 0 State Championships (But a whole lot of D1 athletes!!!!!) Who is thumping their chest again? Lets go a little further -- State Championship Match ups Beechwood 3 State Championships LCA 0 State Championships But that's okay -- please talk about wearing a BW letter jacket from 25 years ago all you want -- if it gets you to realize that the goal is to win championships -- not to brag about D1 talent. (Then again--you would actually have to WIN a state championship ... not holding my breath there).
  6. I’m good on T Shirts, I have plenty of Beechwood State Championship Shirts. You guys keep churning out D1 signees, the Tigers will keep churning out State titles!
  7. Jealous of what? 2 more rings and 2 more trophies in the trophy case? Complete lack of understanding of the world that surrounds you. Seriously--do you not realize what your arrogance sounds like? By all means, please continue to pretend that everything is great with all of your D1 players ... I guess I am sitting here ... still waiting for the Lexington teams in question to realize that your arrogance and constant chest thumping hasn't produced anything other than an individualistic approach to a very team oriented sport. This jealousy garbage is the exact reason why you constantly post about "D1 talent" -- you can't the "TEAM" part figured out .... so you brag about the only thing that you have left. Take things however you want -- the last thing I remember about the 2021 football season is that the team that wasn't bragging about "D1 talent" was holding up the trophy (and in more than one class). By all means continue down this road -- it just makes it easier once the season starts.
  8. No disdain whatsoever for central KY football. We just have to constantly hear about how LCA had the highest RPI, LCA had the highest points for per game, LCA had the most D1 and all levels of college signees. I’m just here to remind you that with all that talent, LCA has failed to win a title the last 3 years. It’s starting to sound like Calipari when he loses in the Sweet 16 or Elite 8 and wants to forget about not winning titles and thumps his chest about how many draft picks he had.
  9. I’m just asking the question, were any of his P5 offers committable offers? These schools throw out offers to these kids, and when in reality they are not committable offers. If all the kids ahead of them on the pecking order don’t pass on the offer, then the offer is not really an offer. It’s ridiculous how recruiting is now versus 20-25 years ago, where an offer meant they were really offering you a scholarship. It sounds like Longmire from Corbin was in the same situation.
  10. I am just going to say it ... Shouldn't the more important question be: "when are the Lexington schools who constantly toot their horns about D1 talent going to put the blather aside and produce a championship?" Its great that there is so much talent accumulated at these certain schools in Lexington ... But is the right leadership truly there if all this D1 talent continues to not produce a championship? I would also have to wonder ... Do you ever think the non-"D1" talent in these programs start to get the impression that championships are secondary to constantly hearing about all the D1 guys in their program?
  11. Almost positive Pikeville running clocked Raceland in the playoffs. Final score was 36-7, believe Raceland scored in mop up duty.
  12. They went 5-6, I think that classifies as rebuild mode.
  13. And Pikeville crushed Raceland. Raceland is not on the level of the top tier 1A-2A teams. They are a consistently solid small school team that can beat bigger schools in their immediate area, but I don’t see them coming to Ft Thomas and competing. Even if Highlands is in a rebuild mode.
  14. Smaller schools almost always have higher RPI’s because any win they get above their class is an RPI boost. If Highlands doesn’t win this game comfortably, then they better do some soul searching. No way should they struggle at home against Raceland, and if they do then they are further away from competing than I thought.
  15. If this happens, I would think the natural and easy move would be Walton-Verona moving into the district with Beechwood, Lloyd, Newport. I believe they are currently in a 6 team district.
  16. Also might add that just because a player has an “offer” doesn’t mean that it is a committable offer. Some of these teams offer 20 QBs, and if you are the 20th guy they have offered, then in reality you really don’t have an offer until those other guys choose elsewhere. It’s kinda nuts how these teams throw out “offers.”
  17. No, Coach Rash was on Gary’s staff in 85, 86. Then after college he was at SK with Tim Odom and then later at Moeller before coming to Beechwood.
  18. Rudy Tassini was a great coach and an even better man and someone that had the respect of all players and coaches. However, Gary Dearwater was Lloyd’s head coach when Noel played. Rudy took over in 1987 and was there until I believe 1999. He was however, a great friend of Coach Rash.
  19. He’s a really good football player as well. Beechwood and Holy Cross in football are miles apart. I’m sure that may have something to do with why he’s not at Holy Cross.
  20. Cameron Boyd (Jr) had 31 and Cash Harney (8th grade) had 16, including the game winning 3 with about 8 seconds left. Beechwood made Dixie play at a slower pace and was very efficient in the half court game. Kudos to Coach Goetz and the young Tigers. Great win.
  21. This is a great topic. Being a Beechwood fan, I know some of the things they do in relation to film study and breakdowns is not only extensive -- but also next level. This came out a few years ago https://www.hudl.com/blog/the-accountant
  22. Citi isn't abandoning anything. Matter of fact, Citi hasn't owned either building in years. Its been leased back for a long time. Citi has been decreasing their brick/mortar footprint nationally for at least 15 years. Florence, Gray, TN and Jacksonville are still strategic locations that are not going anywhere (there are a few others but they are not as knee deep in collections as the three mentioned above). With that said ... The building facing Houston road has been cleared out. Once people come back into the office, Building 2 will be used exclusively. I would think there will be people back in the office mid-year if things get squared away with vivid. Interesting thing through the pandemic is that productivity has been up significantly since everyone moved home (>=25%). Those of us who have been around for a while wonder how long it will last .. But our people are working hard and have acclimated their selves to this change quickly (it took me about a year to get comfortable working at home ... That was 13+ years ago). The standard non officers got through the changes a lot quicker than I did! From my perspective, I feel pretty good about our company through the pandemic. The employees health has been put first, and in return the employees have worked hard through the pandemic. Lots of good lately. So, Citi has around 30 more years of massive tax breaks from the state and city-- which are probably the best tax breaks across any site/location in the US. Things are going to be just fine for Citi Florence for many years to come.
