The #5 Lady Cardinals will face #1 Sacred Heart in tomorrow's semifinals.

The semi between GRC and SHA should be a thriller. The Lady Cardinals came the closest of any Bluegrass team to defeating the Valkyries ~ a 53-54 loss on Feb 7 in Winchester.

GRC huddle with HC Robbie Graham.

6-2 2025 Ciara Byars another young star not fazed by the "big show" 47 points, 17 rebounds, and 6 blocked shots in first two games this year, major talent.

North Laurel, I think has the star of the future with Brooke Nicholsen. She reminds me of Sophie Galloway from Marshall County a few years back in their big run. Sophie was the most impressive track and field talent in Kentucky for an extended period of time ... came out and played basketball and help a ton. Brooke reminds me of her ... physically, quick off the dribble ...plays defense and scores. Great job by GRC ... very impressed by Nicholsen.

If Graves County had any decent track facilities, she might have remained a Lady Eagle.
