This happens often. Different people will have different rankings. CCH seems to get better name recognition at the state level. Regardless, if you ask 3 impartial people, you are bound to get 3 different rankings in the 9th. CCH has two losses in the state. Beechwood has 3 losses in the state. Cooper has 4 losses in the state. CCH beat Cooper by 6 at CCH Cooper beat Beechwood by 20+ at Cooper Beechwood beat CCH by 1 at Beechwood Campbell beat Cooper at Campbell and lost to Beechwood at Beechwood In the end, the rankings don't matter. What will matter is who cuts the nets at NKU ... ?

No doubt Newport wins with Harding. But playing without players is part of the game and teams have to know how to win with any lineup...

CCH was sloppy before the game even started - coaches had Davin lined up to be intro'd as a starter but Moser was listed in the roster so they announced him and he had to start. CCH had 14 turnovers in the first half but still held the lead at halftime Oldham's defense was very aggressive and they did a good job on Disken. Havent seen official stats but guessing Fleek led CCH followed by Thelen.

Camels def Jaguars at CCHS - nice win! Can't wait to hear about this one ... A couple more games for each team and its tourney time ... there will be some good matchups in the 9th but I expect the Camels to roll through the 10th.

IMO, that is actually a better draw for CCH than Beechwood.

So WV won the second half 30-23! Lol, I am trying to keep my glass half full ... ;-)

I am surprised none of the Blue or Red bloods have started a predictions thread for the Beechwood vs CCH game. I know there is a lot of smack talk to be said ... ;-) This game has potential to be closer than some think.

Wow, the CCH starting 5 and first sub went 25 for 27 (92%) for the game!

Great region road win at SK for the Cats! SK has a tough final 5 games (Oldham, CCH, Campbell, Scott, and Holmes) to get them ready for districts. I expect them to lose 3 during this stretch.

I believe Mick Davin is the 6th player to lead CCH in scoring this season - I love it! Disken, Thelen, Fleek, Greene, and Jack Davin have each led the team more than once. I am assuming it was a running clock the entire second half and that the subs played. If the score was 70 to 17 at the half, CCH only won the second half 25 to 18.

CCH was up with 11 with under 4 mins but made some big mistakes and were down 1 with 9 secs. Fleek made the game winner. Disken, Greene, Thelen, and Fleek all in double digits.

Where is the District Tourney this year?

Apparently the Campbell @ CCH game is cancelled tonight for obvious reasons which are bigger than basketball. This was a wise decision by CCH but I hope they are able to re-schedule this matchup. Last year's game @ Campbell literally went to the buzzer with CCH getting a tip in to win by 2.
