JackieMoon
Camels def Jaguars at CCHS - nice win! Can't wait to hear about this one ... A couple more games for each team and its tourney time ... there will be some good matchups in the 9th but I expect the Camels to roll through the 10th. Bluesport
Campbell is always tough. Good win.
dd734
Good win for the Camels. Senior Night for the Camels. Both teams turned the ball over too much. That may be in part due to the defense each team played. Both teams missed too many easy baskets. Neither team had a stellar night at the Charity stripe. Cooper never let up, but Campbell had an answer each time the Jags made a run. That being said, the Camels never let up either, and the Jags for the most part, answered each run by Campbell County. Jags just couldn’t get over the Hump.
mcpapa
What kind of game did Jolly have?
dd734
Jolly had a BIG game. So did Wilson.
mcpapa
Jolly had a BIG game. Doesn’t surprise me. You can make a case for a couple of other guys, but after DA went down, Jolly has been the front runner for 10th region POY honors. Just my opinion. MorganRaider
Pretty cleanly played game all things considered I think. Camels only had 10 turnovers and Jags were about there as well. That was one of the more physical games I’ve seen this season. Both teams battled and no backdown from either. Big time win for the Camels on their senior night. mooremiller31
Definitely Player of the Year. Too bad he won’t get it but have to be careful saying that out loud. Might offend the natives!
Voice of Reason
Obviously Campbell County is top notch, but I say this result adds to the 9th region is wide open story.
Big Fundamental
Excellent week for the Camels beating SK and then Cooper. That’s a great sign heading into the districts and likely regionals. Once again, Russell, a very underrated coach, has the Camels rolling this year. Would love to see their tough/disciplined/gritty style play down state. dd734
Both of these teams are well coached, and played very disciplined. They both ran their offense well, and both coaches used their time outs wisely. The officials let them play, not many Ticky tacky fouls. Camels bench had a good night as usual. Kudos to coach Russell for giving all of his seniors ample playing time on senior night. Northern Kentucky Campbell County 59, Cooper 53 Campbell Co. (21-4) - Wirth 1 0 2, Wilson 7 8 23, R.
