Lost a lot of it's status. People could argue all day long why Bohn should not win the award, but I don't think there's anyone out there that can give a reason why he's not on the list. They really dropped the ball on this one.

I agree with you. In all honesty, I hope ohs beats the brakes off them every time they play but it's much more fun to watch the city teams when they are ALL competitive and for a long time, you couldn't say that about apollo. Maybe they are looking at some really exceptional candidates (not just looking at the coaches there), they could be thinking the same thing you are and they don't want to mess it up. This pick could haunt them for a very long while. I grudgingly wish them luck. Next season isn't that far away.

I don't know that catholic has the quickness ohs does. To be pretty much the same team Drake had last year, they are playing faster and quicker.

I don't know, so I am asking you guys. What are the rules regarding leaving a private school an attending the public school in the district that the kid lives in? Must he sit out or can he play immediately?

What school is this Chief? Looks like an awesome complex. I see what they think of football there.

Owensboro Catholic (you neglected to mention them) has represented well over the years. They might not win night in night out but don't let their size fool you. Definitely not a walk over. But they are fine where they are. Traveling to louisville, lexington and NKY 4 or 5 times a season would deplete their athletic budget quickly which would shut down basketball (boys and girls), baseball, soccer, you name it. No more sports. Tuition is high enough and most parents don't want to see their money going to support the athletic department.

OHS got a nice win against Castle tonight after a first half of playing like they were asleep. The Devils got in gear and took care of business. On another note, do you think Chambers is going to play this year?

We aren't the same person. I graduated from OC awhile ago. I have a kid playing for the devils now. I am only commenting on what I have been told by people who have kids playing for Catholic now. You are entitled to your opinion, I think he's a very good coach (I would love to see what he'd do with the speed and athleticism that Owensboro has), but you have to know that not everyone over there is happy with him or the way he does things. I guess they will put the search in high gear now. What do you think about where their search will go? In house or will they look outside the box? I hope they become competitive, it'll be much more interesting if all the teams in the area can compete with each other as opposed to the way it's been for the past several years.
